I bought an assortment of chunky puzzles for my 8-year-old special needs grandson. My daughter said he loves them all, but especially LOVES this one with sound. Hope you provide more options with sound in the near future so I can get more for him. His therapists use them too.❤️

Sound puzzles is made of high-quality materials as wood is very durable and great design. This sound puzzle helps to grow the kids understanding towards sounds, vision and shape of the vehicle. It is very innovative to have shape and sounds together. Kids learns about the sounds along with it. 

Sounds is bit low, it will really helpful if it has volume control button.

Great Vehicle Sound Puzzle

My 2 year old son loves this puzzle! He imitates the sounds and drives/flies the puzzle pieces around when he plays with it. The only things that would make it better were if 1) the sounds wouldn't work unless correctly placed and 2) the one sound would stop and the next start. When my son goes too quickly he misses the next sound which frustrates him. I guess it is teaching him patience!

The concept is great, but the execution is lacking. The noises are "light sensored" so they don't work well in dim light rooms and can randomly go off if a hand or the wrong piece covers the sensor. Would be better if it was pressure based or magnet based. Not sure I would recommend...

Good idea, bad execution

It does not name the vehicle and the sound takes time much patience for the child to put in the next piece.  
The older version was much better.

I have almost all of your sound puzzles. This one is great but the delay of the sound is frustrating to a small person. All other puzzles have sound when piece is lifted. This puzzle- you lift piece wait and wait put piece back wait then the sound occurs. So technically it works but my grandson has put piece back and picked up another before sound begins, therefore sound is not related to puzzle piece he has in his hand...a bit confusing after being a bit frustrating. So you understand why I gave it a 2 star rating.

I would buy again for older kid who understand sound delay

I have bought Melissa and Doug puzzles before and were pleased with the items. This was my first sound puzzle. It worked for about 5 minutes. Then it would only make a random sound here or there when a puzzle piece was put in to place. My grandson was so upset. He is 2 1/2 and could not understand why the pictures no longer made sounds. What a disappointment. Will never buy again.
