RainCloud is a four port manifold that runs on 4 AA batteries controlled by an ethernet module to your wireless router. Works surprisingly well. I am still playing with the rain delay in simple vs advanced mode. I think rain delay only works in simple mode. To be fair, this app could look better and the instructions a bit more thorough. I don't plan to use Alexa, just the raincloud or competing app. I recommend this product, I particularly enjoy being creative in hiding garden hoses around my property and then watering with my phone on a schedule. Even if the internet provider is off, raincloud will remember its' schedule.

Great Seller.  Very fast!  Very responsive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was a lot easier to use than I thought it would be. I'm not very tech savvy so my daughter and I set this up at her house. Back, front, side yard and the garden covered. All on one program. She preferred the PC to the smart phone. Setting it up physically went fast and easy. No connection or leaking problems. The program set up must be read and followed. Every step leads to the next. Once the program was set up it was actually fun to watch it go to work for the first time. This is a good idea as long as it continues to work. We only have it set up about 2 weeks. So far. So good. This really frees up time to do other things on the weekend.

Melnor Internet water timer

I like this device and own a master and add on unit. I have a second house and decide to buy one fir that house. During setup it looks like I reached my limit in devices. I give a non descriptive message say cal the number for help. Of course no one answers the phone and I have to leave a message to be called back. So far after leaving 2 messages no call back.

Not working at all. At first, when I received the package, the box look already open and the stuff inside the box look's also second hand. Because the wire where not attached with the little tie rap and the piece where not in their little plastic bag. Secondly, after many try, impossible to make the connection between the UC and the valve, will return it.

Second hand stuff

This unit can be very easily damaged and ultimately break. Melnor's support doesn't respond, so be warned that you likely will be tossing $100  down the drain

Poor build and no support

This unit eats through batteries - four AA batteries last four days! Piece of unreliable junk, look for something else.
