This is a beefed up Jungle Moc.  I feel more support across my foot and especially in my arch. I have problems with reoccurring plantar fasciitis and these shoes allow me to keep walking.  Just an excellent shoe.

I wear these 8 hours a day 5 days a week for work. I'm a roving maintenance tech for a property management company covering multiple properties so spend a lot of time on my feet. On average I cover about 4 to 5 miles a day. No fatigue at the end of the day, Really great shoe.

Awesome Work Shoe

I wanted a shoe for knocking about doing home chores. Cutting the grass working out in the bush clearing deadwood, home maintenance and repairs, etc. These are lighter and more waterproof than the previous similar shoe that I had from another brand. They are exactly what I wanted for this purpose.

Perfect knocking about shoe.

This is my 4th pair. I am a Chef and I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day. I wouldn't wear any other shoe.

Right into work the first day in these shoes. Best pro kitchen footwear I have had in over 40 years of work. Great support super comfortable.

Great for chefs!!

Very comfortable work shoes.  As mechanic by trade I'm on my feet in these 9 plus hours a day and never have pain in my feet.  The non slip holds up very well to oil and coolant spills.

Merrell work shoe.

I'm an OR nurse.  After trying many different shoes over my career, I have found the Merrell professional Mocs to be the most comfortable for a long day of standing and walking while also being stain and water resistant.

Great for OR nurses!

Easy to slip on but stay on my feet. I have big (size 15) feet and often shoes are weirdly proportioned at that size — the toe bed is too narrow or the heel is too wide or what have you. These are Goldilocks. 

I also really am amazed that they required zero break in. I wore them initially just around the block to see how they would be but they were so comfortable that the next day I did 18KM in them. Zero issues. I have never had Merrell shoes before (usually I wear Keens or John Fluevog) but I will certainly consider buying more of this brand. Shipping was insanely fast too — really liked that.

Have become my go-to day to day shoes

Literally the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I wear them every day, casually, in the hospital (nursing student), at the gym. I actually just bought my second pair. Highly recommend!!! I love these shoes.

Best pair ever bought, seriously

Definitely hard/stiff at first, but after a week or so work wear, they seem like they are starting to break in nicely. I went back to Shoes for Crews over the summer, but when weather got cold, I went back to these (and back to a "solid" slip-on as opposed to the fabric sneaker-style). This probably my 5th pair of these overall, so that should be a good testimonial. I do think my boss is right that nobody does non-slip soles like S4C does (I've worn S4C-soled Newbies and they perform just as well, but still from S4C's store), but these are 80%+ of that for what I think is better overall support/comfort and shoe quality. Weight is another factor, the similarly-styled S4C options seem WAY heavier, which was part of what sold me on these a few years ago after having a few pairs of S4C slip-on's -- they were just so HEAVY on your feet. Last comment on the stiff/hard point is that part of me also thinks that might be a good durability metric, whereas a shoe that broke in easily (or not at all) might degrade faster, but given my previous experience with the type, probably just means they need sufficient "seasoning" before they get to the sweet spot. 

Bottom line: My repeat buying history, and my return after going with Newbies from S4C for a while, is proof positive of the quality of these shoes. And to reiterate, don't be scared by the very stiff out of the box feel, just give them time and your feet will feel better.

Just needs breaking-in, but I keep coming back!

I AM DISAPPOINTED .. I HAVE FOUR PAIR OF MERRILL SHOES .. TWO WITH HIGH BACK AND TWO WITH LOW BACKS ... THE EARLIER ONES WERE GETTING TIRED ... SO I TRIED TO REPLACE THEM .... THREE TIMES
