Comfort

I tried several pairs of lightweight waterproof hiking boots before settling on these. They are light, flexible, and comfortable. As some other reviews mentioned, they do tend to be slippery on some surfaces. However, the biggest catch I have discovered is they are not waterproof. Within a 2-4 times wearing my 1st pair, I discovered the sole had peeled off the fabric upper at a couple of locations so they were no longer waterproof. Merrell sent me another pair and after 3 uses, there is no peeling or defect evident but my shoes fill up with water. I really like the comfort but sadly they don't fill the waterproof claim.

The toe box is smaller than expected. I wear normally a size 7.5 M and my left toe is hurting. I have tried using thinner socks but to no avail. Returns are not easy to make so go up half a size.

Shoe runs small

Love this shoe! I am a use merrell fan and always buy merrell however this is the first time I tried the higher ones and I love them! Only feedback I would have is to make the waterproof ones more breathable as they make my feet sweat a lot more then my non waterproof ones! Overall love then through!

Amazing

This model was too narrow across the ball of my foot, and even though I ordered a half size up from my ither Merrells, it was basically the same length.

Runs small and narrow

Comfortable, supportive boots. Ran a bit small. I usually wear a 9.5 but had to get 10. They fit fine. Loses a bit of cushion to gain stability but that's why I got them. Would buy again.

Solid performance

I use it as a sneaker.  I'm on my feet all day.  Comfortable from the moment I put it on. Didn't need to break it in. I highly recommend this.

Typical well made shoe by Merrell.  Sizing is standard, quality materials, comfortable fit.
