I rent. You know the landlord could care less about changing furnace filters. I cut this to fit the intake vent. Hold it up with magnets. My vent is metal. I turn on the furnace blower and let it do work. Cut the next off the roll and replace. It looks stupid sure. The air is cleaner. I dust less. I sneeze less.  For the price I get 3-4 months worth of filter.

it is much thinner than I'd expected it to be.  i guess I'll have to cut and layer it.  it'll be ok, but I'll shop else where next time
