I have the first version of these glasses and like them except that they slip down my nose no matter what I do. Probably due to weight and of course having any kind of natural facial oils on my skin. I've heard the same issues of everyone I know who own them. I was hoping this new version might fix that, but it doesn't. Although they are a little more snug on the sides by my ears, they still slip down my nose far too often to be fun. 

They do seem well made otherwise and the video and photo options always available are great. quality is good, but my iPhone is better, expectedly. 

I didn't love the transparent look in the end. It was cool to see at first, but as sun glasses I didn't love that they don't seem like normal sun glasses.

Heavy, slippery, app issues

I am not a techie person and lose my sunglasses all the time normally. So when my husband gave me these for my birthday in January I was nervous that I would lose them right away and it would be another gimmick that sat in my drawer- however I was SO wrong!! These are one of the best gifts ever. We are big skiers so when I used them in my ski vacation, I couldn't believe how I could take amazing photos without having to take my gloves off, find my phone etc, I could verbally tell the glasses to also turn up and down the music so I could ski with music then hop on the lift and have it down or off while I sat with everyone. I could take photos of us on the lift and more importantly call the other group,  as we always got separated while skiing. All while not have to do anything except “tell Meta” what I wanted! 
I also, did a St patty's day run with a group of women. One wanted to wear her ear buds and the others said “no you must be social”… meanwhile I was wearing my glasses and no one knew I had music on while I ran! The sunglasses part is amazing too, the sound- unbelievable and nothing to stick in your ear and no one can hear the music I'm playing, and photos are amazing quality! One of the best inventions and I love the fit of the Ray-bans! They are solid and tight- 
Can't recommend them enough! Seriously love these glasses!!!

The best sunglasses ever!

I had the last generation of these too and used them, and now these, every single day. I walk the dog or walk to the store, I'm listening to a podcast or music or taking a phone call while still feeling connected to the world around me. The sound is much better than the last gen. 

Cool story: I was listening to a podcast and they used a word I didn't know. I said, Hey Meta, what does X mean? And it paused the podcast, told me the answer, and started it again. 

These things are amazing.

I love these glasses so much

I bought my meta glasses to use for fly fishing. They turned out to be perfect for my needs. The brown polarized lenses were perfect in the flats in Belize with the hot sun shining down. It's a bit hard to wear a floppy sun hat as the brim was often in the way of the lense. But once I got used to moving the brim, it wasn't a problem. The videos and photos, mostly shot hands free, were perfect. 

An awesome product at a reasonable premium price to regular RayBans

Awesome experience

I love my Ray-Ban Metas.  I use them a lot for calls and for taking photos of documents I want to digitize/remember.

The ergonomics need to be improved. I am asian and have a flatter nose and the fit with the built in nose-pads are not ideal, especially with the digital progressive lenses I use.

Also I hope the weight can still be improved as I have to take them off every so often to rest my nose and ears.

Maybe provide an alternative charging port at the end of one of the stems so I can charge them while wearing...I found myself running out of battery during calls, and have had to shift to another pair of bluetooth earphones.

Lastly, Meta AI seems to be on and off...when It does not want to work, I have to reset the glasses and redo the software setup. Hopefully Meta can provide a way to save the preferences I made before to make the setup faster/easier...this or fix Meta AI to not be so flaky.

Other than this I love my Metas!

Good pair...ergonomics and setup can be improved

Excited to explore more use cases for these glasses, but I already love them for my 3+ daily dog walks. Much easier than the glasses + earbuds that I used to wear. And they look stylish.

Love the features of these glasses! Look forward to receiving the AI software update being released this month!
