I've been wanting to update this tool for quite sometime.  My old jigsaw still works but has seen better days as it's almost 40 years old.  I already owned several Metabo tools so it was an easy decision to buy another Metabo product and glad I did.  Great tools !

Great tool

For the price I wasn't all too sure the saw was what I wanted. I've only had corded jig saws in the past and even then, I've only owned two of them. 
The Metabo was much cheaper than the yellow or red tools. At the store I grabbed ahold of the Metabo. It felt good in my hand, and I know from using a jigsaw for hours at a time they can ware a person out.
I took a chance and took the Metabo Jigsaw home. 
Wow! This saw is so smooth running and the feel after using it for an hour or so is really nice. I was amazed how long the 18V battery lasted. Before on the corded models I havd from different makers I was wishing I had a battery to run out due to the fatigue involved. Not the Metabo. 
For the price, comfort, and durability, there is no way I'de purchase another brand JIG Saw.

Simply unbelievable.

Got this two weeks ago to help with my flooring job on my fiancés and I new house. 1200 sqft of floors and this Jig saw has helped cut flooring and lumber with ease and confidence. Build stout and sturdy, feels very ergonomically. The blade it came with its great I'm sure there are better but honestly out the box I couldn't ask for more. Give it the 8amp battery and she gives noticeable extra power. Thanks Metabo HPT for another cordless tool to add to my collection.

A great product for a great price

love this jigsaw. plenty of power and comfort. nice and lightweight. I really like the blade change mechanism. It makes for really quick and easy blade changes. I would definitely buy this saw again and recommend it to anyone in the market.

Awesome jigsaw

I had the an older model that still said Hitachi and it finally died after 5 years. Bought this as a replacement and “wow” do I love it. Super quiet, perfect amount of power, and it is comfortable! Another perfectly designed tool from Metabo at an excellent price.

Comfortable and powerful at a perfect price.

Works well enough for a jigsaw. Easy to control with one hand, orbital selector switch doesn't bounce around like other brands. Dust blower is a great feature. The led light is a little dim and the bevel gauge doesn't have any positive stops at certain angles. It doesn't get used much so I can't say as to its longevity.
