Great game and good service from Wal-Mart delivery. Box was roughed a bit, but that aint that important. The Special edition comes with a metalic case, art book and some shiny cards from the previous games. Its a worth splurge if you are a Metroid fan or a collector, but for the regular player the standard edition is enough.

Pre-order Delivered on time

Pre-ordered the game, and it arrived the same day it was released which was a pleasant surprise. Well packaged, and with no damage or anything. The special edition is very well made. The artwork is beautiful, and the game itself is very addicting. I havent played a metroid game since Super Metroid on the SNES, and this brings me back to those days putting countless hours into the game with friends. Can probably be completed in 5 hours or so, but if you want to complete it 100%, it will take a lot longer!

Dread is a great game that bring back classic game play from the Nes area at the same time bringing Nintendo switch 2D graphics, you don't have to play old metroid to enjoy this one

A new beginning

Beat it 5 times in 2 weeks, still died each time. Good and fair challenge, only downside is there are 2 bosses that are repeated a couple times, but other than that it's just about perfect.

Couldn't imagine it being much better

This game is addictive, I don't have much free time but I think I have played 2 hours and it's just a must for people who like action 2D platform gender. Enjoy it so far.

A must in the Switch Library

A fantastic game. Little to no handholding. A great fun and challenging experience. One that I recommend everyone buy. The special Edition is totally worth it.

This game is simply amazing.  The Special edition has a great Steel book case, Art book and card set that I plan to frame.  If you are a Metroid fan and can find this I suggest you pick it up.  My only negative is the poor shipping from Wal-Mart for my COLLECTORS edition the exterior box was damaged which is a huge disappointment.  Due to limited availability of this item there was no option for an exchange.

Amazing Product - Poor Shipping

Wal Mart made this order relatively painless, but the shipping quality was awful.  The game box was just tossed into a larger coardboard box and sent.  There was *NO* protective shipping materials inside the box, so my copy of Metroid Dread Special Edition had damaged corners from tumbling around inside the cardboard box.  Really dissatisfied with this lack of care in shipping my product, it obviously shows that "Free shipping" doesn't mean "good shipping."

Other than that, the game arrived on the day it was expected and the communication of the shipping process was well communicated.

Terrible shipping quality

Worse experience ever. The store did an automatic price match which its refusing to do to me. Once the edition arrived, it was extremely bended. It is a collection item tan was crushed into a small box. Walmart only offers it to be returned but not providing a replacement and no refund. Not worth to buy in Walmart at all
