This carafe was purchased for a specific reason by me. My mom loves her wine at night, but we worry about her going up and down the stairs for a refill. The way this chills the wine and looks so good makes it easy and even fun for her to just use it in her room, saving her from having to take on the stairs at her age, early 80's.

Love the fact that you can put ice in the center to keep the wine cold! It is extremely easy to use. I wish it had a way to keep it from spilling if it went on it's side to make it portable & maybe make them in something besides glass for portability also. Have packed it in the cooler lots if times with no issues, we just make sure it is packed not to tip. Great for at home on deck so you don't have to keep getting up to go I to house for more wine!
