I have had this controller for about a month now with no problems at all.  It's really responsive and I highly recommend. The controller senses when not being played and shuts the controller off. This is very good for saving battery life. I'm still using the batteries it comes with after a month of continuous use.

I have been playing games all of my life ever since the Dreamcast so I have tried countless controllers including the PS3 and PS4 controllers. So there may be some debate in terms of functionality superiority when comparing this controller to the PS4 controller because of the touchscreen pad, but in terms of build quality, sturdiness, ease of use, ergonomic comfortability, the Xbox One Controller definitely trumps every single controller that I have used in my entire life.

This controller is super sturdy, the joysticks are super responsive and very well made. They are precise and have a good amount of tension and everything, no loose joystick, and precise enough for sniping and such. Fluid movement as well. The triggers and bumpers are also well made and quality and perfect for all kinds of games.

Overall, this controller is made extremely well. I can't accurately describe every precise detail of this controller, but it is definitely the best controller I have used so far. No wonder that Virtual Reality headsets use the Xbox One Controller as their component device. The only thing is that the price is pretty high, but that is standard across all controllers!

The material the controller is made of  looks and feels better than the previous one for the Xbox 360.

Overall, this controller is good for many video games. However, the controller lacks a sense of grip. It would be useful for intensive gamers whom pay for the best equipment for the best performance and sponsors.

Great Controller, Barely any Grip

I ordered online to avoid going into the store and paid $60 for a new controller but ended receiving a used controller.  Box was resealed (see photos). Also, box said includes the USB cord but was not in box. Because of this, I had to go into the store to return and get a new one.

The box was messed up and the analog on the controller was broken and falling out when I opened it...

Xbox1 controller did not arrive in original Microsoft box. The controller was shipped loose and the only protection was styrofoam shipping material and a plastic shipping bag. I am not happy considering I spent $60 on this product. It did not appear "used" however it was probably refurbished since it was not in original packaging.
