It is made of good thick strong metal and if you follow the instructions, it's not to difficult to put together. Although the instructions says for 2 people, but I did it all by myself. I totally recommend this cage for large dogs and it's plenty strong and safe for them.

awesome strong sturdy crate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dog crate is for my Cane Corso. It is a good design, strong, and easily assembled. It definitely requires two people for assembly because of component sizes and movement once assembled. Fits perfectly in my Tacoma pickup bed. Easy to secure and is loved by my dog. it has ample room so he can easily turn around. At home, I throw a cover over it leaving the end door uncovered and open. It's already become his personal cave. The large plastic pan that covers the entire bottom of the crate makes the installation of a pad and a small bucket for water a snap and is appreciated by all.

I have a 5 month old Saint Pyrenees puppy who quickly outgrew 2 smaller carriers. He won't outgrow this. A little difficult to get it together, only because I had to do it right where it was going to go. It is great, strong, and best of all, he likes it.

Good strong crate for a big dog

I already had one for my GSD and now I had to buy one for my Bernedoodle. I love these kennels there is room to grow and my pups are very comfortable.

This is huge

great size. Perfect for my giant breed puppy who was out growing her 48" crate at 5 months.  
Well made.  It's just a bit confusing when lining up the   side panels to put in pins.   Could use a better visual picture for that part or assembly.

This crate is huge. Perfect for my Great Dane. She can easily stand up in it. I put it together myself even though it says 2 or 3 people.  Price was the best that I found anywhere. Love it!

HUGE crate

Definitely heavy. You definitely need two people to put this together. Make sure your ceilings are minimum 8 foot tall or it will be extremely difficult to have the rod put in. You should have a large floor space because pieces will need to be laid out and maneuvered to assemble. Highly recommend.

Great quality

It is huge.  I assembled by myself.  Hardest part of that was just the unboxing of it and separating the parts.  The size and weight with a bum shoulder made it a little tougher for me.  Some of the loops were bent.  I could not secure the top as intended but there is a zip tie for everything.   This size is not going to be portable.   It has to be completely dismantled.  It is strong.  The metal is a lot thicker than the "normal" sized ones.  But if you have a soon to be one year old that eats your house and furniture (garden hose, camper wires, shed, downspout extensions, etc), this is a nice roomy spot.

Strong and the XXL is huge!

Hard to put together to me don't seem very stable because of the side poles…. Definitely can't be moved or it feels very wobbly, maybe user error? 3/5 stars because door don't move well in front very stiff and overall product bends easy, this size kennel should be a lot tougher! Metal comes off sometimes too.

Not the best not the worst

The plastic flooring was broken upon receipt and some of the metal bars were bent and had to be unbent to be used.
