Installation process typically takes under 30 minutes and is straightforward.

Can be powerful, but struggles with large spaces.

Bought this air conditioner when the one in my bedroom went out. I just needed something to cool my bedroom at night while I sleep. This air conditioner seems well made and works good for what I need. I don't know how well it would work to cool a whole mobile home but it cools my room perfectly.

It is small and perfect for a smaller place.  It runs quietly on low, a bit louder on hi, but no more than any other window unit. 
I had a bit of a time installing it, the directions for installing the side pieces, were not that informative, but eventually I figured it out.   But I still haven't figured out how to lock them in place, but oh well tape works. lol.

i was wanting a extra AC for a back up but didn't want to pay over $99, but with my savings 101 page that I have on facebook they posted a deal I couldn't resist 3 for $138, I was skeptical at first but when they all showed up I was blowen away, great product glad I waited for a deal, deal is now dead.

great little AC

This is the third Midea air conditioner that I have bought. The first one is four years old and still cooling, the one I bought last year lasted about a year, but I especially like this third one because it has a remote control, no knobs and only took just a few minutes to install it. For the price would definitely recommend.

Well worth it!

Ac system failed on me so I figured why not try this affordable window unit so I ordered online because I'm disabled to my surprise it was very easy to move for my son had it set up within 5 minutes blows good cold air and no noise well worth the $ I would definitely recommend..

This ac does not cool the room like an AC should It feels like a fan. I am really unhappy with my purchase I've had the  ac going for over five hours now in my room is yet to cool down I'm really unhappy and the ac is fully installed and I really don't feel like putting it back together to return it. But I might just have to this AC is Horrible

do not waste your money

This air conditioner is a waste of money.  Noisy.  Doesnt push enough air unless the room is already cool or outside temp is  75 or less at which point a fan works fine.  Will be returning.  Midea makes great products but this is not one of them.  The controls require you to turn it off manually which is fine but it doesnt get the room cool enough to turn off automatically therefore it runs constantly.

DO NOT BUY

air conditioner is very good on the noise scale. It is also good on the cooling process. here is the issue. mold almost immediately started to develop in and around the air conditioner. it also pulls water out the back. I would expect that from an older air conditioner, but I bought this one brand new The water that is coming out of the air conditioner is turning my porch green. mold can be plainly seen around the air conditioner.

There is a mold problem.

The expanding side panels are poorly designed and unworkable on a traditional double hung window. The design of the "lip" which should lock into the window's lower sash channel and behind the inner rail (which is sometimes called the "stop") will not fit without building out the rail. For this reason, you cannot make the side panels airtight without some carpentry. In 45 years of installing window air conditioners, I have not witnessed this issue. The expanding side panel might work well with a replacement vinyl or aluminum window, but it will not work on a traditional double hung wood window. In addition, I found the expanding side panels are cheaply made.

The sliding frame ripped in half as soon as I attempted to attach it to the unit. I tried to attach the second sliding frame, and that also ripped. Don't recommend.
