had a midea 5k btu ac unit did well for my small room for 2 years but the minute i tried using it for the garage studio conversion it was not enough with the amount of space, I had too upgrade onto the midea 8k btu unit and man im telling you, I reside in the state of Nevada and its currently 102' degrees and its keeping this big room cold so don't believe all the bad reviews this unit is solid enough for the 350 sqft

It can be a little noisy at first, but I quickly got used to it and barely notice when it turns on or off now. What really matters is that it cools my room extremely well — it gets nice and cold, just the way I like it. The Auto Eco mode is a great feature too; it automatically shuts off once the room reaches my set temperature, which has helped lower my electric bill quite a bit. For reference, my room size falls within the range recommended by the manufacturer, so performance has been excellent. I can't say how it would do in a larger space, but within the suggested size range, it works perfectly.

This AC is great!

my son bought this air conditioner for me. When the main one in my house died on me in the middle of a heat spell. I didn't expect it to do much but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a little noisy, but not much it cools nicely. It's perfect perfectly in the window very easy to install.

Works well usually. At times, the AC seems to have problems getting room tenp to desired level. Most times it cools very well but at times it cuts off and room is still warm. Hopefully itwill cool okay once the super heat of a Houston summer.

the remote control is ridiculous it's impossible to get it on high I'm just too lazy to return it older air conditioners from this company or all the same with the crazy remote control you should try to get it on the high it's impossible I'll never buy another one from this company ever again

Much louder than the company claims. I researched for months before deciding on a unit to purchase. Perhaps I expected too much for this little AC. I definitely wanted something much quieter as the information on this air conditioner claimed. It seems to not put out as much, as it should. It is a 8,000 BTU. It seems to surge some and struggle loudly going on and off. I would not purchase this AC again. To be completely transparent I have never had an air condition window unit in my life and my review should include that information.

Works great just very noisy inside my bedroom,i have a Midea 12000 u shaped in the living room and you can not even hear it when it's on.

I live in Florida, so it's better than no AC at all. However, it is too loud, it changes its settings at will. I wake up in the night, too hot, and the AC is off because it decided to use its Energy Saver mode or sets it's timer...by itself. Wish I'd spent a bit more and bought a better AC.

I recently had knee replacement surgery. The girl that brought my air conditioner couldn't even hardly lift it. She set it down three different times and stood it on its side. I had to wait till my husband over the road truck driver came home to try to take it back and apparently they won't let us give it back because it is only for 15 days. I did not know that in the beginning or I would have waited. But I had no idea she was going to stand it on its end now I have wasted almost $300

What a waste

We live in a single size mobile home and this air conditioner does not blow out cold enough air to even cool off our living room. Very disappointed in this purchase.
