I am a 65-year-old woman who lives alone. I  am very happy with my purchase.  The only difficulty I had was getting it up 5 steps %26 out of the box. Very easy to install especially after watching a YouTube video. A higher BTU might have been a better choice for the area I needed to cool, but the 5000 btu works great.

For the price of the unit, it is very great. It cools down the room fantastic. Had a cool bigger room than what it says on the booklet but all in all I love it. It's great and as I said, the price was very well price compared to the others I've looked at they're about $150 less than anybody else. Walmart is the great place to shop for anyone if you want to save money or if you're rich and don't care shop Walmart anyway it's great for all Walmart is for the people and they treat her customers with courtesy I like to Walmart standards but I would love to see some of the standards of Walmart go back to like they was back in the 90s and early 2000s. Some things have changed too much but I know I appreciate Walmart very much because of them they force the other retail stores to keep their prices down without Walmarts. We would be paying three times more for our product somewhere else. Thank you Walmart. Keep up a great job.

Great place

This is a great ac unit. The one we had before was way bigger, made more noise and the lights dimmed when it cycled. This one is smaller, quieter and  no dimming lights. In fact we have two in the rooms next to each other.  Keeps everything cool, would buy again. Great option if you don't want the safety risk of something hanging out of your window.

The book instructions weren't clear enough. i had to search on the internet and on YouTube for better instructions.  The drainage of this AC is wayyyyy to much. I had to get up too many times to empty a large pot throughout the night. Its just too much work.

Easy to set up and operate. That being said we purchased this to keep our Saint Bernard's cool. Their house is an insulated 5x8 wooden outbuilding. The windows are closed and the dog door  magnetically closes. The small area is barely cool. At 90 degrees today the house was cooler but not tolerable even for me. The thermostat is set on 60. We were very disappointed! We thought this would be much easier than installing the window unit every year. Would not buy the product again, and we are putting the old unit back to work.

Saint Bernards house

i bought it for my spare bedroom  9x10. a 5000btu unit.  sister is coming down for a week and  i keep my house central air set at 79 degrees thats too hot for her . so i thought this would be great for her.  this unit does not keep up during the hot part of the day.  Hopefully it will keep up at night

Weak

Honestly, I'm really disappointed in It works great but and I was emptying it out every day to prevent leakage and now all of a sudden it's just leaking everywhere and it ruined my carpet. it works great conditioning but now all of a sudden it's just leaking everywhere and it ruined my carpet yesterday and it leaked a second time time this morning. The plug just seems to not stay closed anymore not sure why.

Frustrated but works I guess

came missing the adapter to the ac and the exhaust pipe so now i have to hunt down and see if i can find one that'll fit. incredibly frustrating i mean how do you miss putting that in the box ?!?

It will not cool a small room. very bad choice I made!  Expected better.  NOT worth the money!  will switch back to my standard window unit.  Buyers beware

I used this AC unit in my 100 sq/ft camper. I also had a humidifier running. It did not cool the room down at all.  do not buy !
