Use a few pens together outside to make a fence, and have had some a few years outside every day including Wi term with landscape stakes.

Need more of the ground hooks in case others get damaged. Otherwise it's great

I use 3 for a dog yard

This is a very durable structure. However, I did not use it as a playpen. Instead, I placed it down as a type of flooring that my 80lb shepherd could not dig up. I used some plyers to disconnect pieces. My dog has not been able to rip it up. I am considering purchasing another for same purpose.

Durability

I never write reviews, but this gat is so amazing I feel like I have to.  I live in a neighborhood with strict rules against fences. We back up to a busy street, with the High School directly across from us.  I have 2 small dogs, but can never, ever let them off leash for this reason. It has been so frustrating taking them out to do their business. I've researched fence for years, but never found anything that would work and be allowed by our HOA. Then I found this! I have 3 of the gates outside to form a big area where they can relieve themselves and play, and one inside connected to a crate for our new puppy. THESE ARE SO GREAT!! They are so easy to move around and configure into new shapes.  I'm probably going to order another 2-3 more to increase their play space outside as well as keep one on my deck.  The nice thing is, they tend to blend into the yard fairly well so no one should complain to our HOA when walking by and seeing it.

I used this as an enclosure for my hot water heater and furnace to keep my cats out of harms way. It worked purr-fectly! :)
