[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased this product before and it lasted many many years and I am now prepared because I got a generator from you and I also got four of the five gallon gas cans so I'm prepared for hurricane season in Florida this year thanks to Walmart it cost me a whole lot less than anywhere else believe me I looked

I finally found an "old school" straight forward gas can! AND it's made in the USA! This gas can is easy to fill and the no fuss spout works like a charm. Can't beat the fair price! I highly recommend this great gas can.

I ordered 2 of these, I wanted to up my generator stand by cans from 4 to 6. These are a tremendous value and every bit as good as the other brands out there. I will change the spous to a flex spout but overall am very happy with the product. Easy to fill, easy to pour and no leaks. What sold me most was the double handles, so much easier to use.

BEST VALUE ONLINE!  Even factory direct doesn't have the pricing we found on Walmart and that's saying a lot because we looked on every small and large vendor, including big home warehouse chains and the independents too.  

These are not the slim 'packable' but these will fit snugly in the pick-up bed of almost all Toyota, GMC, and Ford pickups.  I would say shop here first and compare to your other big online retailers.  

These are USA-made, thick plastic, and very durable.  Remember to use fuel stabilizer if you'll be storing fuel for more than a week, follow all safety and fire rules, and such.  The spout isn't the best but it will do.  We bought 'gas can caps' on Walmart and found the caps didn't fit because the thread 'rim' on the cap is too deep so the cap bottoms out on the exterior of the can before sealing the gasket.  So, use the cap and spout that comes with the can or keep shopping for caps elsewhere.  Caps tend to be made 'foreign' but these Made in USA cans are the best.

It is what it is. Looks durable enough and seems to be quality molds/construction. The release button (at least on mine) takes some pretty strong fingers to pinch it down. I was actually surprised at the force it took to engage the nozzle. Other than that, good buy.

Needed new gas cans and these were priced better than other brands. The tab you push in to allow the spout to activate is hard for old arthritic hands but I did it and had no leaks. All spouts I've seen have had their faults.  I would purchase again.

Worked and didn't leak!

Love the gas can with two handles, making it easy to pour. Unfortunately, the ‘safety spout' is designed so that idiots won't burn themselves and law suits less common. I believe that they (all the new designs make pouring more complex and thus more dangerous).  I replaced mine with the older spout and vent.

Ya know hey listen, we all know that there's no such thing as a good spout anymore and whoever designs these things should look into other career options. There's just no easy or painless way to get them to work.
That being said, for me personally this is a 5 gallon gasoline storage container. I drilled a small hole in the rear for pressure and use a funnel to pour. The container itself is made well and hasn't leaked.

Is what it is

the spout not only leaks, but the design is atrocious!  you must unlock the nozzel, then balance a heavy container in the air while attempt to put the litrle piece on the side of the gas tank so that it pushes in enough tha the gas will come out. I'm currently looking online hoping to find a replacement nozzle!

I rarely, if ever write a review for anything. But, I felt compelled with this one.  These are absolutely the worst gas cans I've ever seen in my entire life. The spout leaks when pouring the gas in my tractor, and goes all over the ground. I bought four of these things and have the same experience with all of them. Horrible product.
