I bought this to put into the run area of my chicken coop to put my baby chickens into to keep them separated from my adult chickens so that they can get used to each other without the worry of being hurt by the adult birds. The baby chicks are just too small to put in with the adult chickens, so this works awesome. I had to add on some 1/4" hardware cloth onto the sides so that the chicks couldn't get thru the slots, but I couldn't be happier with how this is working out for what I need it for.

Midwest Exercise Pen with Door (Black) - 30"

This exercise pen is awesome!! Right now I have it configured around the railing that goes down to our basement. The rungs are too wide and our puppy fit thro them and fall 14' to the basement floor. It's easily held in place by plastic ties. Will use outside later for her recreational area. Love this product!

Love the way you can configure this

Bought 4 or 5 weeks ago. Had time to use every day and very happy with product. The price was fair. Very good compared to others I checked out. The delivery was what they said. At my door within days. I live in the country so I was impressed with that.

Well built

I'd buy again

I bought this pen not for my dog, but for my rabbit (pet store cages are actually way too small).

It was quick and easy to set up, for the most part. When assembled, it is quite sturdy. It has a simple, clean look. The biggest plus as a rabbit pen is that it is easily removed for cleaning, or even if I had to relocate her to a different room- it would be effortless.

I like the gate. It's very convenient. The height of the pen is perfect, as if I need to I can easily step carefully over it one leg at a time (I'm about 5'4").

My ONLY complaint with this product, however it should be noted that this is the case with all xpens as far as I know- It is really difficult to remove panels if you want to use less. I have my xpen set up in the corner of the room. By only using 5 panels, I created a space that is about 5'x6'. However, the only way I could get the excess panels off was by literally prying each joint lock apart with a screw driver and pliers. I did get quite good at it, but I wish there was an easier option.

Quick and Easy

I do like this. it's bigger than I thought. The only maybe downside is that it's kind of lightweight. you will want to use spoke for the ground outside. If you have a dog who will try to push through it you definitely need spokes. for the price it's good quality and we use it as a replacement for a crate.

This pen I put into the rectangle shape indoors on the hardwood floor. The sides are wobbly, even with connectors. The package was. also missing the 4 snaps. It would. be more stable with some connectors going across the top and/ or bottom to help reduce the wobbling. Outdoors, it would have the stakes to help stabilize the bottom.

pet pen

The diameter of this playpen is great. But my small 4 pound toy dog could easily move this exercise pen around. It's not very sturdy.

Nice space, but not strong enough
