Puppy play pen

I combined a total of four sets, each with eight 2-foot-wide panels, to create 64 feet of fencing. It has been a game changer for my two small dogs, living in a rural mountain area with coyotes and other wildlife, it's given them protection and me peace of mind, both of which are invaluable. 

I ordered the 30-inch fencing and feel that it is more than sufficient for my 10-pound and 15-pound dogs. However, if your dogs are larger, I would recommend getting the maximum height and ordering extra stakes directly from the company, or elsewhere online, to fully secure the fencing into the ground, just in case. 

I own other products by Midwest, the brand that makes this fence, and have been happy with all of them. It's a great brand with good value and quality. 

I highly recommend this fence/pen to anyone who needs a fence, whether for privacy, dogs, or children, and either cannot put one up due to HOA restrictions, are renters, or need a temporary fence, such as those who live or travel in an RV or van. It's also ideal for people like myself who cannot afford to build a permanent fence or are in a situation where it doesn't make sense to do so.

A valid bonus is that the fence can be taken down in mere minutes. It folds up and has a clasp that holds it shut, and it can be stored with a very small footprint and is easily movable as well.

Awesome, cost effective fencing solution

Works perfectly for my two puppies for now and can use it both indoors/ outdoors. Was easy to put together and had bought the bottom cover to go with it.

Perfect size

I bought this to put into the run area of my chicken coop to put my baby chickens into to keep them separated from my adult chickens so that they can get used to each other without the worry of being hurt by the adult birds.  The baby chicks are just too small to put in with the adult chickens, so this works awesome.  I had to add on some 1/4" hardware cloth onto the sides so that the chicks couldn't get thru the slots, but I couldn't be happier with how this is working out for what I need it for.

Midwest Exercise Pen with Door (Black) - 30"

I bought this pen not for my dog, but for my rabbit (pet store cages are actually way too small).

It was quick and easy to set up, for the most part. When assembled, it is quite sturdy. It has a simple, clean look. The biggest plus as a rabbit pen is that it is easily removed for cleaning, or even if I had to relocate her to a different room- it would be effortless.

I like the gate. It's very convenient. The height of the pen is perfect, as if I need to I can easily step carefully over it one leg at a time (I'm about 5'4").

My ONLY complaint with this product, however it should be noted that this is the case with all xpens as far as I know- It is really difficult to remove panels if you want to use less. I have my xpen set up in the corner of the room. By only using 5 panels, I created a space that is about 5'x6'. However, the only way I could get the excess panels off was by literally prying each joint lock apart with a screw driver and pliers. I did get quite good at it, but I wish there was an easier option.

Quick and Easy

It's ok. It moves and ideally is meant for outdoors where you can secure to grass. Not good for indoors.

The diameter of this playpen is great. But my small 4 pound toy dog could easily move this exercise pen around. It's not very sturdy.

Nice space, but not strong enough
