Mielle moisturizing milk is nice quality, gives great moisture and creates a silky approach to hair shine and gives illusion that dry hair becomes moisturized.  Tip catch is that is dries and the moisture is not sustained.  Love the gitty-up though of this product - fragrance is gentle, nice - another tip:  put in hand with some water and rub between hands then apply to hair, wet or dry.  I do both lots of it - different results. Recommend, with some needed tips.

I am usually NOT a fan of milk lotions for hair.  I tried this product because the Leave-In Conditioner sample my daughter gave me worked so well on my dry cracking-off hair.  It moisturized and made my hair baby soft.  It does not flak, sit on top of my hair, or make my hair stick to my hands.  I love the scent.  The bottle has a flat top so I store it upside down so the milk is ready for a gentle squeeze each morning.  I saturate my ends and work the product back up towards my scalp.  Wonderful product.

Smells wonderful and not sticky

This is my second time using this product from Mielle. I love it.
I am not even sure what type of kinky hair I have. But it works. It definitely hydrates my thirsty hair. Which normally always dry.
I even use on my toddler son's hair also,  who have sensitive skin, eczema. 
I use this along with leave in conditioner and almond mint oil, all from Mielle.

i use this to help grow my baby girl hair in yhe back andnit works so good

it works good but if you have fine hair it can make it look greasy

A little goes a long way. If you put too much, it makes your hair feel sticky and looks frizzy.  I honestly don't think it hydrates the hair much. It's an ok product.

This flakes up in my hair and makes it look like aI have dandruff. I had ordered it a long time ago and theew it away. I couldn't remember why until I just brought it agin. Waste of money and will be tossing this bottl too.

The smell is overwhelming. It's heavily fragranced and smells like cheap perfume. Gave me a headache. It's more oil based then water based, so I don't think it's a very moisturizing. My hair feels hard after using this, especially if used on dry hair. It's have to use it on wet hair to not have that sticky feeling. It doesn't have any slip so it just sits on the hair. Rice water can have a high protein level so I wonder if that is a contributing factor. Overall, I prefer the avocado milk way more than this one.
