Quality

Everything came on time and packed really well, so arrived in perfect shape. This Delray pattern came with both a fruit and a cereal bowl. Would go well with your china pattern if there was white in it. My last dishes were stoneware and too heavy. Can be dressy enough for china and simple enough for everyday. The coffee cup is a comtorary mug.
Love these new dishes!

Lovely white porcelain china

mikasa.com

I am going to use this set for every day ware.

Was tired of my porcelain dishes because of weight and tendency to chip.

The Mikasa Delray pieces are a good weight for everyday...don't feel too fragile. I like that they are microwave and dishwasher safe.

All pieces are just as pictured and nice quality.

My Lucerne two 40 piece dinnerware sets were shipped and arrived in perfect condition. The dinnerware pieces are light and thin in appearance. I microwave and clean these dishes with a dishwasher daily for about a month now. They are very durable. No chips or scratches. I feel these dishes are of very high quality. I would recommend Mikasa brand.

High Quality Mikasa purchase

I never write reviews. I just purchased the Delray this week. I LOVE it. If you are considering it, don't waste any more time, buy it. You will be so happy you did. It is simple, white, every day dinnerware or elegant for a special meal or entertaining friends. It goes with everything. Simply Beautiful!!! It is just what I was looking for.

LOVE it, buy it, you will not regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dining set is very classic and elegant. It is perfect for everyday use and when entertaining guests. With the set being simple and elegant in its white appearance, you no longer have to worry about matching your kitchen/dining decor or colors, because it goes with everything. The dishes are large in size, leaving plenty of room for food, which pop on the plate making it appear more appetizing. Bone china is also safer to eat on and being a healthier choice. While not completely break-proof, they can withstand quite a bit of use. This set, for the price and number of pieces, is an absolute bargain that is well worth the investment. I would definitely recommend this attractive and function set to others.

An Absolute Must Have

Used for 2 months and no chips, no scratches from intense cutting, no stains! These are so strong and do great in dishwasher. They look so expensive and nice in our farmhouse kitchen. The small bowl is pretty small for desserts or putting dips in. Big bowl we use for everything from gumbo to cereal. We also bought the matching pasta bowls and we use them so much for salads to pasta! Thank you Mikasa for making such a great set of dishes!

We are in love with these!!!

We had an older square heavy dinnerware set and needed to replace it with something lighter. I found the Delray set and am very happy with the purchase. It is significantly lighter than what we had previously. The round shape fits nicely in our old style shelving in the kitchen. The white color is pleasing and allows for decorating the table with different patterns and colors. I like that it is dishwasher and microwave safe.

Very happy with new dinnerware

I love the finish and light weight of this bone china dinnerware. They are perfect for every day use, but can create a classy, beautiful table for special occasions as well. I like that many of the Mikasa patterns/designs work well together so I can add an accent piece from another pattern such as a Trellis serving bowl. I will be back for more! Thank you!

Just perfect!

I love my new dishes but I wish you had more accessory pieces to go with the set. Thanks.

I love my new dishes.

Service has been great, however, after using the dishes I have noticed that the dinner plates are not all the same. Some have a very flat rim around the edges and some do not. I would like to order more in this pattern but I want everything to be the same rather than appear mix/matched. I have also noticed that some are STARK white while others aren't and I really like the STARK white.

Mix/matched dinner plates.

Set is only one year old and glazing has worn through. Finish is now dull and stained. Disgusting to serve dinner on. What has happened to Mikasa quality?

Absolute junk.

Mikasa 5225580 Delray 40-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 8 front-facing view of stacked crisp white bone china: 8 each of 11-inch dinner plates, 9-inch salad plates, 6-inch cereal bowls, 4.25-inch fruit bowls and 14‑ounce mugs with minimalist clean lines and smooth pure-white surfaces on a neutral tabletop; suitable as a starter set for small households.
