Quality

I am going to use this set for every day ware. 

Was tired of my porcelain dishes because of weight and tendency to chip. 

The Mikasa Delray pieces are a good weight for everyday...don't feel too fragile. I like that they are microwave and dishwasher safe.

My Lucerne two 40 piece dinnerware sets were shipped and arrived in perfect condition. The dinnerware pieces are light and thin in appearance. I microwave and clean these dishes with a dishwasher daily for about a month now. They are very durable. No chips or scratches. I feel these dishes are of very high quality. I would recommend Mikasa brand.

I never write reviews. I just purchased the Delray this week. I LOVE it. If you are considering it, don't waste any more time, buy it. You will be so happy you did. It is simple, white, every day dinnerware or elegant for a special meal or entertaining friends. It goes with everything. Simply Beautiful!!! It is just what I was looking for.

LOVE it, buy it, you will not regret it.

Used for 2 months and no chips, no scratches from intense cutting, no stains! These are so strong and do great in dishwasher. They look so expensive and nice in our farmhouse kitchen. The small bowl is pretty small for desserts or putting dips in. Big bowl we use for everything from gumbo to cereal. We also bought the matching pasta bowls and we use them so much for salads to pasta! Thank you Mikasa for making such a great set of dishes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dining set is very classic and elegant. It is perfect for everyday use and when entertaining guests. With the set being simple and elegant in its white appearance, you no longer have to worry about matching your kitchen/dining decor or colors, because it goes with everything. The dishes are large in size, leaving plenty of room for food, which pop on the plate making it appear more appetizing. Bone china is also safer to eat on and being a healthier choice. While not completely break-proof, they can withstand quite a bit of use. This set, for the price and number of pieces, is an absolute bargain that is well worth the investment. I would definitely recommend this attractive and function set to others.

An Absolute Must Have

Service has been great, however, after using the dishes I have noticed that the dinner plates are not all the same. Some have a very flat rim around the edges and some do not. I would like to order more in this pattern but I want everything to be the same rather than appear mix/matched. I have also noticed that some are STARK white while others aren't and I really like the STARK white.
