These are beautiful classes. My recent purchase was to replace some that had broken over the years. I notice that the new glass is lighter in weight, although the base is slightly larger. We'll see how these wear.

Noticeably thinner and lighter than they used to be. We have a older set and wanted to augment it. The new versions are adequate, but that's all.

Newer but thinner

I think I am too late to return these but I had the same design set from years ago and it is noticeably different - thinner glass, feels like it will break at any minute and one of the glasses cracked simply when I filled it with ice from an ice scoop. They cheapened this line significantly. Do not buy.

I have been collecting various types of glasses as very pretty, but the highball ones aren't good at all, twice I have gone to carry my glass to my livingroom and the bottom has fallen out, not only making a terrible mess but lost expensive glassware.

Bought 8 cup, all chipped and broken within 6 months. Called and complained and the company said they would send me 4 new ones. But they are the same kind and have broken just as quickly. Almost feels like they sent me a chore to clean up more broken glass.
