I was concerned prior to purchasing in reguards to the locking feature of the depth adjustment based off other reviews... how ever it performed flawlessly.  Used it on sheet rock no problems.  And the lack of power cord helped big time while working on stilts in a room with no power.

Worth the addition to the tool box.

I love anything red! This is a great cutout tool and has plenty of power. I do wish they would update it to be brushless and include a dust collector but otherwise it's great.

If you have red already it's a no brainer

Love this for cutting out around electrical boxes for drywall. Great quality and easy to use. Always dependable. Exactly what you expect from a company like Milwaukee. I had nearly every Dewalt batter operated tool. I have now switched to Milwaukee and am slowly increasing my inventory

Very reliable and easy to use

Great product! As with all power tools this one is no different take your time to learn to work with this tool get the feel of it and once you do it's a no brainer every time! Just be patient and learn how to work this one, once you do you will never look back! Guarantee it!

Saves much needed time

Overall a great milwaukee tool as usual, the only reason for 4 stars is the moveable stop is not nearly as stiff as one would expect until pressure is applied.

Another solid tool

Buy the rotozip bits. I broke the two bits that came with the cut out tool before I even finished one cut out hole.

Great tool… poor bits

Does what it supposed to do. Bit changes are easy. Switch guide is a little janky, but easy to adjust. Switch is in a good location to not get in the way and accidentally turn off, but I don't find it clear to know which way to push the switch to turn it on.

Good tool, works as expected

I love this m18 cutout tool. It's a very versatile tool. I've used it to cut Sheetrock, wood etc. I also use it as a mini router and my metal cutting disc adaptor for my die grinder fits in it too. I would have given it 5 stars if it had just a bit more power and was brushless. I'm probably doing way more with it than I should be so I can't fault the tool for that. I used my old one so much I burnt it up. This one was on its way the next day, that's how much I like this tool.

Very versatile tool

It's new so it should 
I use a 4aph battery, it doesn't slide out of the tool smoothly like my DeWalt tool
I really like the belt clip, gotta make sure the screw holding is tight also like the tool less adjustable depth guide.  Bit that comes with it doesn't cut smoothly, makes the tool vibrate a lot, easy fix with a rotozip bit.
