It basically replaces your skilsaw corded version. You will need large capacity batteries if that is your intention. But totally worth it. I have 3 they are all in use.

Love these saws. Design a blade to match it better than Diablo. Everyone drools over that blade and I think it's trash for Doug fir. If you can lighten the saw up like the new HPT I'd buy 3 more.

Real pole barn builder

This saw is just as sweet as you think it will be… probably sweeter. When you gotta rip a bunch of 3/4” plywood, this is the saw you want. Smooth, straight almost effortless cutting. Effortless is relative here seeing as how it is a rear handle so it's not light when you pick it up but you forget all about the weight when you start cutting. My only regret is waiting so long to buy one of these.

Worth every penny and then some.

More power than other saws, using all m18 batteries makes it optimal for on site use. Ergonomics and weight make this saw comfortable and easy to use.

Well balanced circular saw. Got this to replace a standard top handle circular saw and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Milwaukee stands Above the rest.

EXTREMELY Well Built!!!

Love this saw, I've been wanting this saw since its release. I have a regular M18 circular saw that's 12yrs old. Haven't even thought about a new saw. Then I saw the performance of this new rear handle and I had to have one. It's completely lived up to my expectations, more power than my corded saw. I love how the tool is built into the saw just like the top handle chainsaw. Battery life is excellent. Absolutely worth every penny.

Love this saw

One of the best rear Handled Circular Saws on the market today besides maybe the new Makita 40V Rear handled and the new Skilsaw HVL Rear Handled Saw. This saw has as much power as you'll ever need. The guide and markers are extremely clear and the adjustments are the smoothest of any rear handle I've used. Milwaukee really does notice the small things and they're the best at it. As for comparisons with others and the reason I purchased Milwaukee: The battery life while using the 12AH HO battery is better than Bothe Makita, Dewalt and Skilsaw. You can make it all day on just one battery. The electron break is quick and smooth and the construction overall is really solid. This saw is much more powerful than its regular M18 blade right counterpart. I suppose partly due to the diamond knockout but also due to the huge motor!

Milwaukee nailed it with this saw!

Framing an addition and its been great so far. No cords to get in the way and plenty of power and run time with the 12 amp battery. Its a little lighter than the corded saw I was previously using and the oversized rafter hook its great to hang it and fold out of the way when you dont need it.

Great saw

Absolutely love this saw! Would be nice if the dust port could eject out of the opposite side or the bottom so you're not getting sawdust all over yourself while cutting, but that's the only criticism I have for this saw! No issues with balance or power at all!

Amazing saw!

I love this, Saul. It looks and it seems like it should be heavy, but oddly enough it feels very light and balanced, no matter the size of battery you have in it. It cuts very nice and smooth, and you can barely feel the wood as you cut through it. You can't beat the convenience of battery power. I'm very happy that this tool provides so much power for a battery powered tool. I'm glad to finally have this in my tool arsenal.

One saw to rule them all

Saw died within a month of use.  Battery was full and charged but when you pull trigger nothing happens.  Sent back to place of purchase for service.  Its pretty inconvenient not having my cordless saw when I use it everyday for work.  First Milwaukee tool that has ever failed me, hope it gets resolved.
