Battery

I have two of these and at least 6 of the batteries. I've had them since they came out and unlike a lot of other reviewers, I've had zero issues with it. Seeing the number of comments made like it only charged my phone to 25% or is slow to charge other devices makes me question what some of these people are expecting out of this. It's a 3.6v battery with a rated 3AH capacity. It's tiny compared to the batteries in most, if not all modern phones let alone dedicated power banks. Expecting this thing to fully charge or even half charge a modern cell phone only means you don't really understand batteries and the purpose of this. The one critique I will say is valid is the lack of USB C for charging but honestly it wouldn't charge any faster if it was USB C so I don't see that as a huge issue. As long as you understand what this is, what it can do, and most importantly what it can't do then you should be fine. I certainly have been.

I can charge one battery before the other battery needs to be charged.

I would buy this product again.

This works as described.Big issue is that I need a charger not a power source. I have a whole shop that uses these batteries in the lights. They need spares charged and ready to go. A 6 unit charger for these would be awesome! Right now I have these chargers hanging out of almost every outlet in my shop. You have got to come up with something better!

I need a multi charger not a power source

They dont last very long in the headlamp or magnet lamp. That would be fine if you could have four or five of them on a multi charger like the m18 and m12s have. However, they must be charged one at a time either in the charger tube or in the light itself. That makes it hard to keep spare charged batteries ready to go for night work since you cant just stop using your light to charge the battery. Also, they use mini-usb to charge and almost everything uses usb-c these days so you cant forget to carry around an outdated cord that doesnt work for anything else so you can continuously cycle your batteries. There needs to be some updates to this battery's charging peripherals. The lights are great but the batteries are really a pain to deal with.

Battery is ok, charging system inadequate.

Customer Care

The Battery itself isn't bad, if you know a little about batteries (3.0Ah for a single battery is pretty good, and it's extremely difficult to get anything with more capacity, packed into the size that these batteries are; 3.5~3.6Ah is about the maximum "realistic" capacity you can get - anything higher than that is most likely falsified labeling). As others have said, this isn't going to fully charge your cell phone, or anything else that has a battery with more than a 2.0-2.5Ah internal battery in it (trying to get the full 3.0Ah capacity out of this battery, to charge another battery, will eventually kill this one). However, if you're in a pinch and this is what you've got, it will get you by for a few hours. 
Problem for most of us who have bought into the product line requiring the RedLithium USB battery is, every device that uses the RedLithium USB battery, has its own charging port, to charge the battery while it's in the particular device... and most, if not all of them, will not allow the use of that device while it's being charged. That's where this unit comes in - it allows you to remove the battery from your device, remove the battery from this device, swap them, and charge the dead battery, while continuing to use your device. That's about it. I don't know what other real-world applications there may be for it, given how expensive it is, with its limited capacity. I mean, realistically, what else would I use it for? As a Power Bank? -I could buy 2 or more for the price of this, each with anywhere from 2-5 times this unit's capacity. 
As for charging spare batteries to keep on-hand and at the ready, it looks like you're stuck, and this is your only option - which, honestly, is beyond cumbersome, definitely NOT convenient, and borders on being downright stupid. The only reason I cannot give it more stars and a higher review, is because it's nearly pointless to buy or own this product for any other purpose outside of the absolute necessity to have spare batteries on-hand, given the sheer number of other, higher capacity power banks out there, at a much cheaper price!
Personally, I feel that this particular battery system was an afterthought, meant to compete with other brands' versions of a very similar battery system and product line, but with no "real" support for charging the darn things, other than to throw this product out on the market and call it a "Charger" (TBO, even Ryobi's 4V battery has simplified their product by putting a usb-c port directly on the battery itself... So I find it to be rather misleading to call this battery "RedLithium USB", when there's nothing on the battery that has anything to do with USB!).

So come on Milwaukee! -get a "Drop-In" style 1-port, 2-port, or 4-port charger (or preferably all 3 options - meant specifically for these individual batteries), out on the market, ASAP!!!

Single purpose device, disguised as "useful"

Does not charge quickly. Sliding the battery in and out is cumbersome and allows debris to get introduced. It's 2023 and I know this came out in 2019 but we should be using USB-C not Micro USB.

Why Micro USB?

Purchased this product to have a spare battery recharge a battery for a flashlight and it will not recharge the battery when plugged into a USB port while the flashlight will recharge with no problems. Disappointed in that this is the first problem I have had with all my Milwaukee tools.

It will not recharge

Same experience as other buyers: with a full charge, it can recharge my phone maybe +15%. To call it a "portable power source" is a pretty big stretch. I own and use daily many M18 FUEL tools and expected much more from Milwaukee on this one.

Total dud

Not the quality I expected out of a Milwaukee product. Other reviews mention that it doesn't charge your phone entirely but this isn't a power bank for a phone. The slow speed to charge the batteries it is intended to charge is the real concern of mine. I was able to fully drain my second battery in my headlamp (3 hours or so) before the other battery reached a half charge. If the true purpose of this charger can't be fulfilled it is no longer convenient or useful.

Not True to the Milwaukee Brand

I bought this charger a month ago and returned it today.  This would not even charge a cell phone completely from 25%.  Very disappointed with this purchase because I really like the idea.  With a 3amp battery this should be a winner but unfortunately its not.  Alot of money for something that does not work as advertised
