So far so good.  So much better than a charging specific brick, now when i need to replace I just add to my Milwaukee battery options.

This power source has been good to have in emergency situations. I don't usually have to charge my phone on the job site, I usually charge my phone in the car all the time, but every now and then this has come in handy to charge up my phone. Very compact and convenient to have.

Good for emergency use!!

My coworkers have these. I use them sometimes. It would be good if Milwaukee added a belt clip to it or maybe an attachable clip to the battery itself. This would allow me to walk around with it.

Useful for keeping your electronics charged during a power failure, but the (apparent) 500mA USB output means charging modern cell phones or tablets will take a LONG time - 8 hours for my Nexus 7, which started at 18%. The M12 power source claims up to 2.1A output - more than 4 times the M18 power source output. It works fine for what it IS, but it should BE more.

Low voltage/slow charging, and it only has a single USB output. This really hampers the products potential, but I knew that and bought it anyway because I wanted to extend the use of my batteries. 

By far the worst thing is that the battery has a constant drain when the switch is on - whether it is charging something or not. Meaning a High Output XC6.0 battery can only charge my older phone about 3-4 times if I turn it on overnight. The battery has enough energy capacity to charge the phone 9-10 times - IF it was programmed better (like every other battery bank in this price range).

Could be so much better

I was hoping that Milwaukee was keeping up with technology.

The specs fail to mention output leaving users to figure it out.  From a users' perspective, given an average 18V 5Ah Milwaukee M18 battery,  we should have an adapter giving us three outputs 2 USB A each with an adaptive output of  5V abd up to 3Ah and 1 USB C 18W.

Further, if users are correct that this is a "dumb" adapter with an single USB A output of 5V and 0.5 Ah, its pretty much useless. Well need to stick to external power banks. 

Please advise and Upgrade.

Needs Better Specs

Got this to use as phone charger while traveling and fell asleep with it connected to my iPad, woke up to find the M18 battery I connected it to is now blinking back and forth on the charger showing that the battery is no good. Really?!? Just for charging an iPad this device isn't smart enough to kill power before murdering my batteries? Now I have a brick of a battery and a device that I can't trust.

Bought this unit to extend the run time on my heated jacket and charge devices when off the grid. The issue: If you accidentally (or unknowingly as it was for me the first time around) leave the power switch in the "on" position the circuitry in the unit will drain the battery dead. An incredibly critical design flaw not to have a sense circuit to make it "sleep" when not in use. Which also means that you need to go in the back pocket of your jacket to shut it off at the end of the day or it will go dead. Imagine it your cordless drill did that.  Thought Milwaukee was smarter than this.
