Great Tool. It's a handy little tool that I reach for 99% of the time when needing a reciprocating saw. I only use the full sized Sawzall for big jobs. I have and 18 and 12 version of the Hackzall and they don't disappoint. I had an original 12 volt non fuel years ago and it wasn't impressive, I believe it was more a battery issue than a tool issue. I would recommend it to anyone.

Lives up to the Milwaukee name. I continue to be impressed by the power and useful battery life with the M12 line of tools. This Hackzall does not disappoint. It powers through with the best of the other reciprocating saws. the M12 uses the same blades as the M18 Sawzall.

Surprisingly long battery life and power

It does everything I need it to.
I really like using it with the XC4.0 battery to get extra power on bigger jobs.

Great tool

Big power in a small comfortable package. It's nice to be able to carry a “compact reciprocating saw” packed with unbelievable power, when you have to lug around a lot tools all day. The other bonus is you're able to sneak the saw into tight spaces where a full size reciprocating saw just can't get in and with that “FUEL POWER” just saying can't go wrong.

Milwaukee M12 FUEL Hackzall

Comparing the non fuel to the fuel there wasn't much of a weight difference once you added a larger battery. Using a 9” pruning blade I made quick work of some downed trees and a broken trellis. Highly recommend this for anyone with m12 batteries, great 1 handed option for quick cuts.

Hackzall keeps up the great tradition of Milwaukee

I was not sure how well this would work, I really like the M18 version. But this this has tons on power with a high output 5.0, would recommend this over the M18 version for most people for ease of use and size great tool.

Power for the size

This hackzall is one handed device and very light m12 system, I love that it takes the bigger tool cutting blades. Love the 12v tools, I use them more than all my m18 tools. They have surprisingly good power in such a small voltage battery.

Small size big power

Honestly I was disappointed. It cuts PVC pipe good but I don't expect it to cut galvanized or iron pipe effectively. Idk, I might send it back because it seems so underpowered. I'll stick to my M18 hackzall

Not worth it, but the m18

For the size Great Little saw  won't replace the big saws all, but for tight  spaces, a real thing.
