I work in the Mining Industry and we always go with Milwaukee.
We received 2 of those compact wrench couple of months ago and everyone were laughing at those because we KNOW we need beasts in order to complete our jobs.

After testing both of them, they suddenly vanished.. EVERYONE wanted to have them in their toolchest !

Now, we all have our own compact wrench because those ones are LIFE SAVER BEAST !!!

Another fantastic impact from Milwaukee. Having the high torque model, I needed something a little smaller and this compact wrench is great, still plenty powerful for just about any normal task, lug nuts, stubborn suspension bolts, and it actually fits in a lot of places where normally I'd have to use a breaker bar because an impact wouldn't fit. The only downside is I accidently got the pin detent model, I prefer the hog ring, the pin detent is actually to strong, lol. I have to be sure I don't line the pin up with the retention hole in the socket, or I need a pick to push the pin in and be able to remove the socket. All in all, the wrench is well worth it and won't let you down.

My go to impact

The m18 1/2" tool is an awesome tool. I use it mostly for tire changes and working around my garage, I like the point that its short, again, awesome tool.

Great impact!!

I love this tool! The weight of the tool is just right. It fits into tighter places and has plenty of power for anything you would typically need to do with a tool of this category. The LEDs on the front make things so much easier to see as well.

Must Have Tool!

Milwaukee's M18 compact impact wrench measures in at only 4.9 inches in length making it perfect for work in tighter spaces. The tool features three LED lights which help to illuminate the spot you are working in very minimal shadows caused by the lights. Generating up to 250 ft-lbs of torque, it delivers the power that you need for fastening and removing in tight spaces. The tool has a 4 mode drive control which allows you to have greater precision over the application you are doing by being able to choose preset RPMs. Mode 4 which is an auto shut off mode allows you to prevent over tightening.

I own the high torque and mid torque version along with the compact version and I definitely use the compact version for all my lighter fastening and removing applications. It's extremely well balanced and perfect for work in crawl spaces or attics. The three LED lights allow me to work in darker spaces without having to worry about sufficient lighting, which is a huge time and energy saver especially in hard to access spaces. The impact wrench is very comparable in size and weight to my Gen III impact driver. Overall good to have in your arsenal!!!

My most used for 1/2” impact wrenches!!

Looks good, well built.  I haven't used the impact wrench just yet.  I will in a few weeks, winter tire installation and sharpening of mower blades.  Will provide another review at a later date.

Great tool

Has trouble busting even newer lug nuts off. I'm not in the rust belt/ area with salted roads either (Florida). I'm reaching for my breaker bar frequently. I honestly wish I'd have just bought the mid torque instead, especially since it's available for less than I paid for the 2855.

Not as powerful as I hoped. Struggles.
