Hmm, my two 48-11-1815 batteries were purchased in Jun 2016 and have performed with no issues so far. I do have to be sure it is seated correctly on the charger. I charge one while using the other.

best battery I have used for tools. Once again millwaukee makes a great product. I would buy again if I needed another m18 battery. I highy recomend this battery.

best 18 volt tool battery ever!!!!!!!!

I work for a company that has these on site. I tend to find that yes they are a good battery but half the time the battery is defective. I dont know if its becuase i work with so many at a time but i find more likely then not hte battery doesnt work and we have to send them back to get replaced. It can be a little frustrating when we go to use it and when you go to charge the battery to use it later it doesnt work. I always end up swapping batteries with other guns and sending the other ones back.

My NEW, NEVER USED, batteries will not charge...they flash red and green when placed in the charger. Given the reviews I just read, it's clear that my experience is not unique. MILWAUKEE, why would you sully your reputation with this defective product? What is my recourse???

Don't waste your money on this battery!!!

Charged once and cannot charge anymore. Just get the red and green flashing lights. Other battery in the two pack had worked great for the last 3 years. Disappointed with the quality control

Not worth the gamble

Have had two of these since Christmas 2023.  Maybe used them less than five times.  Today, I had one deplete in a matter of seconds.  Now it won't charge, flashing red and green.  The other worked for a few minutes but it depleted quickly and got very hot and started to leak and hiss.  Placed it in the middle of the yard for fear it was going to explode.  Just contacted warranty department.  I'd stay clear of this little battery and go with the more reliable ones.  FYI, my drill or charger isn't the issue.  Works fine with the other batteries I have.

Nearly exploded

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased the starter kit, and right away, the battery started flashing green and red. I barely used it, and both batteries died. After researching online, I was told I needed to "jump-start" the batteries, even though these are supposed to be brand new. I shouldn't have to go through that with new batteries. I wish I had seen all the negative reviews about the M18 Red Lithium CP 1.5AH batteries before purchasing. Now, I'm stuck with two completely useless batteries that won't charge at all. I've wasted so much time trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong, but clearly, it's a product issue. So frustrating!

Received as a gift, new in package. It was dead, blinking red light and unable to be charged. Came here to see this is happening a lot - unacceptable!
