The figure includes a diamond pickaxe and will hold it's pickaxe very well. The packaging is stress free and easy to open. Collect them all to build a portal to the netherworld!! Highly recommended for kids who are starting to collect figures!

Minecraftastic!

Alex isn't their favorite but they've used her with their other toys while playing. The figure is more on the small to medium size but seems to be pretty good quality. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Minecraft. I will definitely purchase more characters for my kiddos.

Great toy for the Minecraft fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy was given to my 9 year old and so this review is based on his thoughts. The main reason he gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because without the other characters it's not especially fun or special. Having said that, he's very excited to get the other figures so that he can play with this toy as it's probably meant to be experience, i.e. with the netherportal which was what excited him about it in the 1st place. In conclusion, it's an exciting gift for Minecraft enthusiasts but will probably go over better if more than one figure is gifted.

A Good Gift for Minecraft Fans

Son enjoyed it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son's initial excitement over getting a Minecraft toy quickly waned when he realized it didn't do anything. Alex is designed to combine with the other characters to build the portal. If you get all the characters, it might be fun to put the portal together. However as a stand alone toy, it wasn't very exciting.

Need all the characters to complete

Super Toy

The black block was confusing to its purpose, and felt like a gimmick to buy more once we learned you have to buy additional toys to get the pieces that add to it.
