I didn't pay attention to the 8" part. So when she arrived I was expecting for her to be bigger. 
But I'm not complaining. She has smooth plastic arms, legs, and head. The center of her body is soft. 
The color of her clothes are so vibrant. Purchase this you won't regret it.

I love that they are a very good price but they are well-made. I also love the variety of skin tones these cells are made in. This does indeed measure 8” though when it came out of the package yet somehow it smaller to me. Still a lovely doll.
