Works great. Very sturdy. I left it out all winter and it still works very well. I have it on my open porch post. For the person who said that it would not stay put and the clothes would end up on the ground; they probably did not wrap the cord around the thumb like hook on the bottom of the device after pulling it out to the desired length to secure it. I defintely recomend this product for average weight laundry.  If you put a very heavy wet blanket on it it will sag a little. I would not recommend putting too many heavey blankets on it at once.

most people nowadays dont use a clothseline in my situation this product works great

Excellent product.  Ignore all the negative reviews pertaining to stoppers.  Simply wrapping the cord around the post  on the bottom of the case securely locks the cord in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Mindy retractable clothesline for many years and just needed to replace it. It is durable and the perfect clothesline for outside/basement.

delivered within a week.  love this product! I have it attached to the house and can pull the line out and hook it to several spots around the yard.  when you're done it retracts back into the casing.

Didn't know that u had to use all 49 feet cause it wouldn't lock untill it was completely out so I had to wrap the extra around the tree. But other then that it's great.

Bought this for a travel dog tie out for my min pin. Serves the purpose.
