Stiff material and very narrow.  If they fit, I imagine with time the leather would soften.  Lace appears to be decorative only.  Not much elasticity in these. Not recommended if you have high arches or wide feet. No point buying clown length shoes in hope of getting required arch or width. I was hoping I by paying more I'd get slippers that last longer.  Since they didn;t offer multiple widths, I assumed they would have some stretch or give. No luck.
