This 30-inch Neoclassic Tool Set has elegant polished chrome handles designed to fit the hand and is permanently bonded to the black rods so it will not come loose. These sturdy tools are properly balanced and are constructed from heavy solid brass or steel. The tongs and shovel are solidly riveted, ensuring they work smoothly and won't rattle or come apart. The brush is made from Tampico, a natural fiber that has excellent sweeping action, texture, and durability. All these tools rest easily in cast racks that are hand-filed for a smooth fit. Plow & Hearth Support

Beautiful, sturdy set. The reason for the drop in stars is the design of the hooks intended to hold the tools are too shallow, especially for the log tongs. They balance precariously in the small hook and one minor bump by the dog's tail and the whole set goes clattering to the floor. Given the expense amd overall weight of the item, I would have expected a heartier base.
