I like the enamel, makes it easy to dust after cleaning ashes from the stove. Have had it a week and no sign of any rust. Easy to add water too. The lid attaches to the pot on one side, so it slides over to the side to add water and you don't have to worry about it falling and damaging anything. Great purchase and worth the money!!

Attractive, good water capacity and easy to move and refill, but after a month of use the interior porcelain coating is already flaking off. Still the best cast iron kettle I've had for the wood stove, can't say how long it will last before rusting sets in.

Recommended if you don't expect it to last forever

Arrived with 1/2"" irregular chip on lid at back.  Did not report or send back, decided it didn't matter.  Very heavy.  Hold 2 quarts water, more and it boils over with steam/dripping.  I use on gas stove in small home. With open plan for humidity.  Setting timer for 3 hours it gives really nice steam, that is not overwhelming. (Glad for no noise or whistling.). Usually have about 1 quart still in pot.  I have a grate top on stove, if had any other kind movement of pot would probably scratch it.  Also use filtered water in pot since I have well water in hopes there will not be a rust issue as described in other reviews.  In my little senior home it works wells and has really helped with dry air issue, breathing, and dry nasal passages.  My problems solved.  Blue kettle looks ""cute"" being out on stove all the time.

I would buy again for humidity issues in small home.  Works

I needed another steamer for our wood stove, so I thought maybe since it is enamel coated, it would keep much better than just the cast iron I purchased before that is a rusting mess.  So far, so good, but it is starting to get nasty inside.

Keeps it Color

Love this kettle! Beautiful solid color, and has not rusted so far.

Would definitely recommend this product!

The kettle works well and for the most part, it looks nice.  However, some areas were not enameled so there is a layer of rust forming along the rim of the kettle and the lid as well as inside.
