For those of us who build or refinish guitars the "vintage" way, this is nitrocellulose lacquer.  I love this stuff and have used it on multiple guitars.  It's priced wonderfully and it's something I can pick up at the local big box store and don't have to wait for shipping.  

For those of you who have said it takes a long time to dry, that's the nature of nitro lacquer. 
 It takes a while to dry and even longer to cure.  I will use this stuff as long as you guys don't change the recipe!

This high gloss brush able lacquer gives the shine like it is still wet. It is so easy to apply and dries fast. I am a woodturner and use it for most of my Turnings.

Easy to use, great finish

I use this stuff all the time, I love it. However lately I can't find this product. I have to use cheap immatations and the finish is horrible. Please help!!!!!

Great finish, great spray applicator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am repainting a lot of my furniture now and I have used this clear satin Lacquer as my go to finishing coat and I haven't needed anything else. It dries super fast, acts as a primer and a top coat so that you do not need any other products and it looks beautiful.
This is a clear and satin formula, it doesn't dry glossy, it has a soft semi matte look to it that is easy to clean and looks sophisticated and beautiful.
I'll look into Minwax products for future home remodels. I highly recommend.

Perfect and Fast

I have experimented with many, many spray lacquers over the years. This stuff is the real deal. I am amazed with the results I get with this. I switched to this about a month  ago (I go thru about 10 cans a month) and I won't go back to the "other". Highly, highly recommend this.

This stuff is AMAZING

Pros…I like the fact that it dries quickly, I was less prone to runs and sags. A big bonus is no sanding between coats. 
Cons….. in my opinion, it doesn't have the high gloss look like minwax polyurethane. (I applied gloss lacquer ) It has very high odors until it flashes off in about an hour. So, make sure you have a well ventilated area. I applied on my work pieces in the garage and laid them outside until the odor subsided.

Loved how easy it is to use and the quick dry time, but no matter what I did, I could not remove the brush marks. I used the brushing lacquer on a table top, and was able to wet sand to make it look better. Maybe more directions on technique/use of retardants (or resource page of best practices) would help.

Looks great, but left brush marks.

Excellent for use on smaller surfaces (I've used it to great effect on table bases and picture frames), but I've had difficulty attaining even coverage on larger table tops. Googling and perusing furniture forums haven't returned much useful advice on the topic. I've attempted 2 table tops (70"x30", 65"x35") with this product, since the result resembles what my professional finisher gets with sprayed catalyzed lacquer and it's substantially cheaper than paying him—but in both cases I've had to strip the surface and start over. Advice?

Conditionally recommend

I'm having a really difficult time with this lacquer. Seems to go on tacky and leaves streaks and brush marks? This inconcistency leaves an “orange peel” effect every time. I don't believe it was from the stain. After the second coat completely dried, it was still reacting this way. Could not have been caused by the stain.

Lacquer application

I have tried several layers. When I put on a thin layer it seems to start setting up and or drying. Not allowing 
to lay down or fill in. Leaving brush marks, scratches and other imperfections (even orange peel). When I put
 on a heavier layer it also starts to set up or dry and any over loaded area, brush marks and other
 imperfections starts to dry or set up and can't be corrected.  I have already put one full can on my 
6" X 10ft hard wood board that I will probably not be able to correct and or use.  I have used this product  
before you claimed it would "dry to touch in 30 minutes" or "2 hours to recoat."  This product seems to dry or
 start setting up to fast and does not allow to fill in or lay down flat before drying!  I am looking for a furniture 
like finish with no imperfections.  I have been able to accomplish this with this product before the quick 
drying capability.
