I have used this spray stain on multiple items and absolutely love it. It is perfect for items that are hard to stain with a normal paint brush and gives great color and coverage. However very hard to find. Highly recommended if you can find it!!!

I tried this on a shelf that has definitely seen better days, and the new look is amazing.  The Minwax Aerosol made the shelf look shiny, glossy and new.  I LOVE this product.

Amazing Aerosol

It's been about a month, so I feel like I'm ready! I really love the results and it was super easy to use! Being in a spray form is a game changer! I've used this to transform my dining room table and chairs, and a little night stand. They look brand new and it's holding up really well! I'd totally recommend this!

Great for DIY projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So over the weekend I gave Minwax® PolyShades® Aerosol a try, I had a small stool that was begging for a makeover.  I began by prepping the stool  with a little sanding and then a good wipe down with cheesecloth to make sure the surface was clean then just sprayed.  It was that simple, shake the can and spray.  The smell was not bad but always ventilate, the spray came out evenly and the end results were amazing.  If your a non pro but a new DIYer like me this is a great introduction.

I had some corner shelves I wanted to stain before putting up and they now look amazing. Make sure to follow the instructions and let it dry completely but it looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy to say how pleased I am with this product the product being in a spray can is a definite game changer when it comes to small DIY projects as it eliminates the mess I love that it's easy to get the hard to reach areas and the finishing results are wonderful I will say it's definitely important to keep the spray can a decent distance from the object in which you are working on or you end up with overspray drip marks but they are definitely fixable using a handy paintbrush to even it out. I think this product is best for smaller projects and you definitely should pay attention to which type of wood you are spraying it on as it works better on certain types. Also the time/cleanup/and ease this product has benifitted me with is definitely a two thumbs

A great simplified product

Needed this to put the final touches on a Murano glass cabinet display for wife. Got 2 cans but need a bit more. Beautiful finishing touch on doors. Cannot find anywhere now. Checked Minwax site is not discontinued or is it......??? be nice to know..come on Minwax fess up....

Lovely Finish but no longer made?

Thankfully, with the help of Minwax, I am able to keep my solid wood furniture pieces looking brand new! I use Minwax PolyShades Aerosol the most because it is an easy-to-use spray that combines wood stain and polyurethane in one simple step. The stain feature helps me touch up any chipped or faded wood back to its original rich wood color and the polyurethane feature helps me seal in the grain of the wood and provides long-lasting protection against any spills or water damage. My hubby and I recently cleaned and dried my bedroom dresser that had some signs of aging with minute fading along the edges and in just 2-3 sprayed coats of Minwax, it looked brand new!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used various products from minwax and this was the first time using their aerosol polyshades. Having used the stains in the tin, the aerosol stains are not as effective as the tin ones, not a lot of staining or color that I have seen.

Works ok!

Can't even open the cap.  Don't manufacturers know that older people with weak or arthritic hands can't squeeze these caps to open!?  So frustrating.  Another project stalled while I wait for someone to open the cap.
