BEST IN CLASS

walmart.com

i bought this to seal a potting bench that i knew would be exposed to the weather.
the application is flawless- i used a small 1" brush. i was almost done and the storm clouds rolled in. the bench got soaked that night, but, it was beaded up and protected in that short time! Trust Minwax

Minwax is simply the best-

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was good after opened. Can looked rough but had no issues. Would recommend.

I've been using Minwax Polyurethane for decades and have always got good results. I almost always put on atleast 3 coats and that seems to be the right amount to get a super smooth feel with a decent amount of protection to the wood underneath. My work bench i put 6 coats on but typically you don't need that many coats for surfaces that won't be taking abuse. For all the bads reviews about this turning peoples white boards yellow is basically user error. Yes this says clear but it does have a yellow tint which you can tell even before using it just by opening the can and looking at the yellow poly inside. If you want a Crystal clear finish then you have to buy a can of Poly that says "Crystal Clear" not just "Clear". The Polycyrlic can is the Crystal clear can your looking for which is about twice the price.

Great Polyurethane Thats Affordable

i painted my countertops. this says NON YELLOWING. countertops are 100% yellow. i painted my countertops white. sealed 2 thin coats of this, its a nasty yellow. dont waste your money.

Minwax 63005 1 qt. Semi Gloss Fast Dry Polyurethane in a clear finish. The can displays 'Fast-Drying Polyurethane' and 'Superior Durability' text, ideal for protecting and enhancing finished or unfinished wood surfaces. Provides long-lasting beauty and protection.
