I have three horses now. I just purchased this sheet for my new horse. I've had this sheet for my other two horses for over 2 years. They are still like new and still waterproof. Can't say enough good about these Mio Turnout sheets!

Mio Turnout Sheet

I bought this as a top layer turnout sheet that doesn't add much bulk, but protects from rain and snow. It fits well and allows for plenty of movement, even without shoulder gussets. I have one for two of my horses and am very happy with them. Also a great price.

Lightweight and good fit

I've had this sheet for a few years now and it has held up well. My horse is not particularly rough on blankets but he is turned out with some young-uns that like to chomp and pull and this does not have any holes or rips. Waterproofing has held up well on days he's been caught in the rain. I especially like this sheet because of how light it is. Other sheets I've had just are heavy (not fill-wise heavy, literally just pounds of blanket) and bulky. This is super light to carry and has lots of room to breath on my horse. I have no problem with him wearing it on those days that are supposed to be cold and rainy but end up being warm and dry. I don't worry that he will get too hot.

My only complaint and this is with all Mio things is that they do not have leg straps - they have a tail cord. Can't imagine how gross that is for a mare owner. My boy does get very sensitive to weather changes and will have loose poops and this just gets rancid. I have a winter blanket from Mio and I cut it off after a few days. When I got this sheet I cut it off immediately. Just gross. I did buy my own leg straps and sewed on a D-ring myself.

Fave rain jacket

The material is plenty durable against 5 year old, mouthy pasture mates. But you better have an exact measurement of your horse. The front buckles are not adjustable and the rear tail strap is much less secure than double leg straps on other turnouts.

I have a horse that runs very warm and a rain sheet this light is a godsend. Unfortunately, he ruined two very quickly. They tear laterally (I will try to patch the less damaged one). My horse is very easy on his closes and most of the blankets are 8+ years old. Please keep working on the material Horseware Ireland! The horse world needs this product!

Fatal flaw

This sheet looked like it was just what I needed until I saw that the tail strap is sewn in place. No way to replace it with a clip on strap as there are no rings. Difficult to take on and off as well as downright messy when the strap gets covered in manure!  I am returning the sheet.

Unfortunate design flaw

I love Horseware products, but this is a dud.  It is not waterproof and it is very flimsy.  My mare ripped it within a week.  Invest in a higher end Horseware sheet that will actually last!

You get what you pay for.

My horse destroyed this blanket the first time he wore it. All of his other blankets hold up fine- it's not him. This thing is a piece of junk. I could tell it wouldn't last before I put it on him, it's so thin and flimsy. Should have returned it.

Flimsy sheet

I like the fit of Amigo/Mio and this sheet fit well and looked great new.  However, my horse only wore it 3/4 times and the whole back end is ripped apart.

Didn't last 2 weeks

This sheet is very light and both layers ripped within a week. I think my mare wore it four times.  It's a good looking sheet and fit well but I am going for rip-stop material next time.
