[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using Shirataki noodles in all of my Asian noodle dishes replacing rice or flour noodles with this zero-carb option. You must rinse it first then boil in broth or bouillon to add flavor as it has none, but all-in-all a great option for low carb, keto lifestyles.

Based on the reviews I was worried to try these as my family is VERY picky when it comes to what they eat. I recently put my son on keto with me and he's been missing his pasta. I decided to try these. I was surprised to find ZERO smell when I opened the bag. I followed the directions of other reviews. I rinsed for two minutes. I boiled for 4 minutes, then I pan-fried on medium heat for 5 minutes then I put in half a cup of alfredo sauce and some parmesan cheese and topped with a tiny bit of shredded mozzarella and my son at the whole plate and asked me to buy more. Huge win because they looked and felt very strange lol but thankfully my son gave them a try and it worked out!

I was very pleased with this product. I've been on keto before, and have been on it 8 days so far again this time. Needed some REAL food so followed the directions on the packet.  Used vodka sauce with some personal tweaks, added meatballs, and was in heaven!!!  (I ate the whole pack myself). Buyer beware...some of this stuff comes through Walmart and some from other sellers who charge ridiculous prices. Should be less than $4 a pack.

Great product!

My local stores stopped selling Shirataki Pasta.  When I found I can order it from Walmart I was so happy.  A great low carb alternative.

A great low carb alternative to normal pasta.

OK...well these are great noodles.  Yam noodles are firm and filling and typically just absorb the flavor of your soup or broth.  It's a plus that they have the interesting factor of being very low in calories.  I grew up eating these things.  My main objection or for scoring them lower is that rhey are relatively expernsive.  But if you don't mind that they are good fare.

Good eats, but pricy

I ordered these because I am trying to lose weight but I'm having a hard time giving up pasta. they came frozen solid and once I let them thaw and cook them it was like chewing on plastic bra straps it was awful from other reviews I've seen it may be because they're not supposed to be frozen? I've tried the pasta zero and I really enjoyed it but have not been able to find it on the website since so I thought I would give these a try I threw away both packs

I didn't smell anything nor do they taste like anything.  So that was good.  But, I couldn't get past the awful texture.  It was like chewing on rubber.  My body refused to allow me to swallow.  Husband and kid agreed.  They went in the trash.  So gross.

Miracle is that people buy these more than once!

The noodles come in water-first you have dry them in a skillet and then cook them in your favorite sauce.  Per the internet (not listed in the instructions on the packet) the longer you cook them the less "chewy" they would be.  I cooked them for well over an hour and they still had the consistency of chewing of rubber.  The taste was fine, but we couldn't get past the consistency.  I will try other plant based noodles to see if there any that are not like this.

This was all I received for my $43 order.  I received three rather six.  I would not recommend ordering as it was misleading and way too expensive.  Walmart want to make this right and send the missing three packages of noodles?
