Kids

Purchased for my grandson who is just starting T-ball.  The Powerclose feature is great and is helping him learn to catch the ball.

Very Comfortable.  Would buy again.

Looks good

After purchasing several different brand gloves for my son, he just wasn't happy with any of them. I purchased this mizuno, let me tell ya it was great. Right out of the package my son loved the feel and fit. The power close technology and material of the mizuno prospect series can not be matched!!!

Awesome glove

My son just started showing an interest in baseball and this glove was the perfect starter glove that doesn't need braking in and was able to use right out of the box. So happy about the purchase and would recommend to any kid new to the game.

Power Close

Great glove for my 5 year old! Have bought many others, but this one is the best by far. Very flexible which makes new players able to catch.

Perfect for my 7 year old

I got this glove years ago and it still held up after all these uses, I sometimes still use it as a training glove since it is slightly smaller than the glove I game. The break in time was quick and the leather is good especially for the age range they are aiming for. A slight problem is that the glove kinda forces you to go traditional, so when I got a bigger glove it felt crazy to do anything else. If your kid or you really likes infield I would definitely recommend this, but if they like outfield I would recommend buying a glove with bigger finger stalls like the Select 9 Series (Which is good for outfield because it is bigger too).

Good Glove for Younger Players

I am shocked that Mizuno is still selling this glove. It breaks in nicely, and will draw you into liking the glove. Then just when you think it is good to go, it will break. I would have bought the glove again, thinking that it was just bad luck, but after reading the reviews it is mind boggling that this is still being sold. The strings are trash, and will not last a full season. My 7 year old had his break in a month. What a terrible product, and shame on Mizuno.

Should be taken off the shelves

My 8 year old used this glove for 1 month, and the stitching has ripped in two spots already, making it dangerous to use.  The glove itself is nice, and easy for him to use.  But the lace quality is horrible.
