I am a 5'3 female who loves doing assembly work and this was only a challenge for me based on weight. I did need help getting the bed frame in the house ( myself and another woman ) . From there it was super easy. Packaged neatly , all pieces were there and labeled. I started on this project alone with the help of my step stool at 5 pm and completed before 8 pm.

I purchased then canceled after reading reviews, the deal was so good I said what the heck and purchased again. And I'm glad I did. The bed is sturdy, haven't squeaked once. I have low ceilings and was concerned it'll be too tall but it fit perfectly. I love this bed!

Great buy

I searched high and low for a canopy bed in town and online. I initially ignored this one because, frankly, I thought it was too cheap to be worth it. Hint: other sites sell this bed for more money; read more reviews and see photos there, but buy here.

I do think a lot of the sturdiness of the bed depends on how well you put it together. This is a time consuming product. You are literally building a bed from poles, 120-something pounds worth at that. The instructions are easy enough, and it took me about 4 hours and 5 White Claws to build it by myself. All of the screws and bolts were included and in good shape, and they even threw in a bag of extra for good measure. The box came dented and ripped, but the bars are totally fine aside from some tiny scratches that only your mother-in-law would notice. We have a King mattress with a low-profile box spring, and the top bar of the headboard is the only one visible. The downside is that our pillows are at the perfect level to slip under that bar while we're sleeping. The gold is definitely more of a dark, muted beige. I was worried it would be "blah" in our beige bedroom, but it actually looks really nice. It's also worth mentioning that we eat a lot, but this bed holds up great during "activities". Not a single squeak or shake from the frame yet.

Some tips that helped me:
1. Use cardboard strips between the support poles and the middle beam under the bed. This will help with the metal-on-metal squeak. I just used strips from the box.
2. Use a hair dryer to veeeeeery slooooowly remove the stickers on the top bars. It helps to peel the long sides in a bit first, then pull from the shorter side, keeping the angle as small as possible as you go.
3. If you're doing this alone, don't connect the top bars before placing them on the posters.  Do one bar at a time until they're all connected. This will take some balance and maneuvering, but will be way easier than trying to lift it as one whole piece.

Overall, 10/10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up. My canopy bed dreams have become a reality.

Sturdy and Stylish

I love the bed. It is so elegant and modern.  No squeeking or looseness. Its pretty sturdy and firm. I got a king size. I put a box spring with mine and it makes it a perfect height.  It took my husband 3 hrs to complete. No missing or damaged pieces. Overall a great bed. 
Ashley furniture has the same bed for a little cheaper.

This bed frame is awesome! The setup took about an hour, but the instructions were super easy to follow! It is very stable, and looks so nice! I couldnt be happier with this purchase!

Great Bed Frame!

I order this bed before moving in my new apartment. I knew I would love it because you can never go wrong with a canopy bed. It took me 3 hours to put it together and my boyfriend came and helped with the heavy parts.  The instructions was so simple and easy I don't see how anybody wouldn't understand. The tool package had literally every part you'll need and even extras. I've only been in it 3 days but so far I love it

id recommend this bed for a teenager or preteen/child but not for two adults who are active due to the super squeaky bars omg it's so annoying with every little move I literally have a tempur pedic king size mattress on the bed frame which provides noise isolation however this frame won't shut up no matter what and do not try and get busy cause the whole house is going to hear squeak squeak squeak it's a nice looking bed but it's wayyyyyy to noisy luckily this is my temporary bedframe it works for now since I bring out my air mattress to get busy
