This buttery-soft blanket is beloved by both of my sons (one and three years old). I also sometimes throw it on my lap if I get cold while working in my living room. It's a smaller blanket but works perfectly for a toddler blanket. My older son has claimed it when curling up on the couch. You can also use it for newborns (for putting them down on it). 
This has held up with washing it. You can put it through the dryer, which is convenient considering that it can get dirty with the kids.

Blanket for All Ages

Oh, this blanket is so incredibly soft. I love that it is on the thinner side.The texture of the blanket seems bumpy but it's so soft that you don't really "feel" the texture. The color is absolutely gorgeous. We love using it at home cuddling on the couch. Easy to clean too! Air dry to keep fluffy.

so soft and lightweight

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Gerber Baby Blanket. I appreciate having this for my rainbow baby. I love that I was sent a gender neutral color given I do not know if baby's a boy or girl yet. Upon arrival, I washed it with baby detergent on a cold cycle, then tossed it in the dryer on low heat (as described). It came out like new. The blanket is very soft making it perfect for little ones. It has a nice sculpted plush design—great for both indoor and outdoor use which is definitely how I will use it.

Perfect Baby Blanket

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we got this light green blanket for our toddler. It is VERY soft and, our little guy is not much of a cuddler, but he enjoys carrying this blanket around and sleeping with it at night. The look is simple, so it would work well for either a baby boy or girl. Our favorite thing about it is the softness! Also love that it can be machine washed.

Super soft baby blanket

Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this Gerber baby blanket in exchange for our honest review. We love it! The sage color is perfect, not too dark but not too light. The fuzzy feeling was nice and soft and even after little man put it in his mouth a few times, he didn't have a mouth full of fuzzies which was wonderful. I also loved that it wasn't a solid flat blanket but instead has a textured raised/lowered feeling - I noticed myself and even my baby running our hands along it frequently while just sitting and watching tv

I got this blanket from Stellar Product Testing Panel for an honest review. This blanket has a beautiful, neutral color and scultping. It is thin, but that's perfect for when my baby is old enough to sleep with it. It did have some off gassing, but it went away quickly. Overall, it's great!

Beautiful Blanket

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall the look of this blanket is rather simple. It has a subtle diamond pattern and the fabric is decently soft, but I wouldn't say it is the softest blanket I have ever purchased. I love that the color is a neutral sage green which can be given to any expecting mother or baby as a gift. The fabric is a decent thickness so it will be a great blanket to use on fall stroller walks, nap time, hanging on the couch, or to keep in the car for winter car rides. It's a little too thick/bulky to keep in a diaper bag. The edge stitching is done well and the subtle details in the fabric  are both great features. It washes well and doesn't bunch or pleat in the dryer. It's not the most amazing blanket in the world, but if you're looking for a simple blanket that can be used in the cooler months, this is a decent option.

Simple and soft blanket

Unfortunately, the blanket was thinner than I expected. Because of that, I chose not to give it as a gift. For the price, the quality was disappointing.  I ordered online and I will be returning it.
