I've had this pair for over 2 years now and have used many pro models for 20+ years. These are excellent and provide comfort for hours and consistent monitoring sound that is balanced and true.

Excellent studio monitoring headphones

Bought these retro headphones at 25.99.I really wasn't expecting much bass from them but I was pleasantly surprised.They sound great and would most definitely recommend them to my friends. I've spent twice as much on hphones that didn't sound half as good.

Retro style headphones

These Monoprice Headphones are similar to my other excellent cans made by (Chinese) ISK. When I put them on, however, I found that the ear pads were annoyingly firm, leaving gaps in the seal between the headphones and my ears/head. They were also uncomfortable for extended listening. So I went on Amazon and ordered a pair of "Protein Leather Replacement Ear Pads" for $6.99 with free delivery. The only downside is that you'll end up waiting over a month for them to come from China. However, you'll be so glad you did- improved an already great set of headphones to be truly awesome. Super comfortable and seals the music off perfectly.

Even BETTER with Bigger, Softer Ear Pads

I could not ask for a better set of headphones. The price is 1/3 of other products in this category. They have a great double usage in my home, my son can plug them into his piano keyboard and I can unscrew the adapter and use them on my phone to listen to podcasts or videos. I highly recommend these headphones.

Amazing bass and soundstage.  Well worth the price.

Really would benefit from a removable headphone cable, even if priced higher to make this cost-effective.

Solidly built, comfortable, easy to replace earpads with third party ones for even more comfort.

Modern Retro Over Ear Heardphones

These headphones are okay for tracking and also to get an idea of what your mix sounds like; however they do seem like the sound is pretty compressed so it is difficult to get great accuracy in the sound, for the money though absolutely perfect. They are a uncomfortable when you take them off your head and rest them around your neck

Head phones okay

Wow, what a set of cans for $20. They are a bit bass heavy, but not in a bad way. Just thinking if you were using them in the recording studio, you have a bit of an unrealistic impression of the bass level. That being said, they are very enjoyable to listen to, especially for bass important music.  Very nice up top too, not harsh at all. Very loud on an iPad as well.

Can?t ask for more for the price.

I recommend these headphones.
After receiving these headphones I used them outside for a whole day , working in my garden. I was listening to music files stored on my OPPO Android phone.  No miniDAC.   Music I listened to was some Debussy solo piano pieces on DGG , Weather Report Live in Tokyo 1984 ( HEY YOU !!! if you like that band , that live recording is phenomenal. ) , some Detroit techno/house and some trusty ole Hendrix : Electric Ladyland . 
Bass nicely presented, mids and treble flat so adjusted with eq.  
I am really satisfied with these headphones: it sounds cliche but   *** for the money *** they are outstanding value.  My only quibble with them is comfort, the pads could maybe be a bit more cushiony ( is that even a word?)  but I wore them for about 7 hours straight , outside and never removed them. 
I am glad I bought them.

A good product

I've been looking at all the K240 knockoff headphones out there as I own a couple pairs of the old original 600 ohm ones.  
These are okay phones, but not the best ones out there.  These are sort of closed-backed, so they have some rejection if you're using them as tracking phones, but I prefer the MP DJ headphones for tracking. These are just another option.  
For mixing, these aren't quite good enough, but are not far off.  They are better than many other inexpensive headphones I've tried.

Decent, but not the best

I bought this model and another from Monoprice at the same time, with the intent to see which worked the best.  This pair arrived first so tried them on before even plugging them in to see how they fit. First of all,  they did not fit as advertised and were very uncomfortable! So..... there wasn't any need to even see what they sounded like.  Ad title says "......... Over Ear Headphones".  Unless you have small ears, these fit ON Ear.  NOT "over" or "around"!
Secondly, (and this may be my fault for not reading the fine print), while Monoprice will take them back if you aren't satisfied, you are on the hook for the return shipping!  In my case, it came to about half what they cost so BE Warned!
