Shopping for a new night stand turned out to be quite a sage.
Won't bore you here with the endless rounds of stores, and
disappointments.

Found this model online at Amazon, and ordered it. Something told me to look further, though I confess that Walmart is the last place I would expect to find quality furniture? !! The price difference was staggering; more than $100 less at Walmart, with FREE shipping, also. I cancelled the first order and decided to take a chance on buying such a piece from infamous Walmart.

I've read MANY reviews from other outlets, including Amazon, quite a few of which mention existing damage to the night stand on arrival.
Not only did this shipment arrive within a week of being ordered, but the packing was superb . . . on a solid pallet inside the crate, with a combination of wood/styrofoam at each corner and the tray & drawers secured so they couldn't open and get damaged in shipment. It arrived in perfect condition, though did take a while to unwrap, of course, with such protective cover.

The colour is indeed not cherry, which I had learned from other reviews, and found delightful; rather more like a rich walnut. The construction is solid, with the drawers tucking fully into the cabinet, as they should. The tray on top is a nice touch to hold remotes or a drink.

This is a quality piece of furniture, from a fine source.

This end table has a very high-end looking finish, although it's more of a dark brown than red tone. (Cinnamon in listing.)

Laptop, phone, and kindle all fit to recharge at night.

Lower drawer holds a horizontal file for handling mail; my magazines; and small stationary and writing items.

Pull-out surface could be better supported - it tends to tint down when fully extended, so we only pull out about half way.

Nice finish, outlets, & large lower drawer.

Easy to buy and pickup. Good prices. I chose to pick up the items rather than have them delivered to my home, just to be sure they were in god condition. They were packed very well, and in great shape! Next time I'll have them shipped to my address. Overall, great experience

Nice Looking Nightstand for the money. The item was shipped in one piece - no assembly. Looks great with our Brighton king size bed.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was delivered put together.  It was very well packed and not a mark on it.

Good piece of furniture for not a lot of money

The color was much darker than the photo. Did not match my furniture at all. I ordered 2 of them. They were packed well, but when I opened the first one there was a 3" split in the wood beside the top drawer on the front. Pull out table was also not sturdy. Really a disappointment. Returned both immediately.

Disappointed, would not recommend

Cabinet is a nice color, and would have kept it, but top drawer is miss aligned. 
Husband worked for an hour trying to figure it out. Drawer is manufactured too small for drawer tracks.
I'm returning the cabinet.

I bought two of these . Both were incorrectly assembled . In the drawer opening space , there was a difference of 3/4 inches between the top of the opening and the bottom . The top was 3/4' wider. This made it impossible for the drawer to close on the top drawer and very difficult for the bottom drawer. After continually trying to close the drawer , the bearings in the drawer slides finally came out. I tried a new drawer slide and shimmed it to make up the difference in width , but this also failed to correct the problem. I finally gave up and returned it. I ordered two replacement units and received and tried the first one yesterday. Fortunately , this one was OK.

Poor construction.
