It did take me about 2-2.5 hours to assemble but it was not difficult. The instructions were very clear and everything was labeled extremely well! It's a heavy piece so it can be difficult to maneuver by yourself but it can be done. So happy I ended up purchasing this beautiful piece for my dining room!

Beautiful piece!!

EXACTLY the Mid-Century look I was going for in my living room. This piece is beautiful and looks way more expensive than it is. I've had it for several months, and it's in great shape, despite having 3 kids constantly using it! Also, unlike another reviewer, there were no chemical smells with ours.

Worth It

First I'd like to say that this is a beautiful sideboard. I had been looking for a tv stand for months and finally decided on this one. So first a few items of note. It will be delivered in two boxes (one long box with the top, bottom sides and drawers and one short but heavier box with the sliding doors and the hardware). 2. The instructions say 60 to put together. This is a whole lie! LOL. I am 50 years old and relatively healthy and with all the parts that have to be put together, it took me about 4 1/2 hours to do. Keeping in mind, I did it all by myself but make sure you set aside plenty of time and set it up in the place you plan to use it because it is heavy once it's all together (unless you have help moving it. 

Once it's all together it's pretty solid although slightly wobbly if you move it so be careful. 
Speaking of careful, PLEASE be careful installing the sliding doors. I got one on with no problem. You have to put the top in the groove first, then lift up and put the bottom in. When I put the second one in, thinking it was in (it was off track), I pushed and pulled a little to set it and the peg broke the “wood”. Tried supergluing with with Gorilla glue and it didn't work. I am contacting the company to get a new door. 

Overall I love it. Again o was looking for something with a specific length and height and this was perfect. It's about 60  inches long and perfect for a 50” tv. You will have about 8” space left on each side. The depth is great to. I have the tv and a soundbar on it. 

As far as the drawers, they are not all the same size. The top drawer is deeper., good for dvds or games. So you can have them standing on their side. The two bottom drawers are not as deep do DVDS will have to lie flat. 

I love that the shelves are adjustable.  Easy to adjust  I have tried to include photos of pertinent parts. 

Oh and one last thing, there are thin panels for the back of the piece. There are no holes for cables. It comes in three pieces. So what I did was only put the center panel in behind the drawers and leave the two end panels off completely. I didn't want to drill holes into the panels because they are so thin. It still looks good but know that the panels are only sitting in a groove and not nailed to the back. 

I hope this detailed review helps in your decision making and I will post another review once the company reaches out about the broken sliding door.

Great sideboard. Solid. Takes times to assemble.

I am so so sad and upset about my beautiful buffet. It has really upped the mid century modern tiki vibe of my dining room. It looks gorgeous with my new dining table. I LOVE looking at it. However, and here is the rub, it is off gassing so many completely toxic fumes that our windows and doors have to be open every day with fans going constantly. And still the chemicals are affecting our breathing, giving us headaches and making our throats hurt daily. We can not eat in our dining room and cannot even sit in our living room without breathing the strong fumes coming off of this buffet. Once assembled, it is huge and heavy. So how do you return a thing like this? I would be so sad to see it go, but good golly molly it is really strong and has not faded even a tiny bit. For over a month we have been breathing these fumes, wishing we could turn off the fans and use our dining room for actual eating instead of just looking at it from afar. I wish I could have a do over.
