This is a great imaginative playset for a toddler or preschooler. The set takes about 20 minutes to put together and has a real life scanner beep sound that kids will love, but that is low tone enough that will not bother adults in the room trying to watch tv. I know my preschooler is going to love this gift for Christmas

Great playset for a toddler thru preschooler

walmart.com

I ordered this 'Shop N' Save' for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday, and got lots of 'Grandpa Points'. My son and I assembled it fairly quickly; and taking a quote from a customer reveiw, we used some zip ties and duct tape around the framework of the cart to strengthen it, as the reveiwer said the cart didn't like "rough use". She completly loved itl

Great gift for a 3 year old !

For the price, you can't beat it. Yes, there is quite a bit of assembly. You have to cut the pieces from a sheet of molded plastic parts, and you want to be careful not to leave any sharp edges. The wheels will not roll on a hard wood floor, because they are hard plastic, not because they don't spin. The wheels actually spin quite freely by hand. The is a sound effect on the scanner (a simple beep), and some real physical coins ,(I couldn't tell by the photo if they were real or stickers). Overall I'm very impressed considering the cost.

Good value

Bought for a 1st birthday present. She LOVED it. Some were a little flimsy but for the price was a great buy.

Adorable

I bought this set for my 4 yr old granddaughter and she has thoroughly enjoyed it. She loves to fill the cart and make the cash register ring. However, the register is small and not sturdy. This is not going to be a pass -it-down toy but I believe she will get my money's worth out of it.

Good toy to foster imaginitive play

This fits a 1 year old , anyone older than that they would be to big.
The cart is extremely tiny and cheaply made. I got this for my day care
Regret ordering it. My toddlers getbon their knees to play with it.

very cheaply made and very, very small!!!!

Really poor quality. Extremely cheap looking and flimsy. I bought 2 of these and I am returning both. Don't waste your money!

flimsy

I bought this, and was very surprised when I opened the box: it was in a million pieces and I had to assemble it. Once assembled, the shopping cart turned out to be useless. The wheels don't turn, and it is so lightweight that it flipped over every time my daughter pushed it. And she fell down with it. I returned it to the store.

Total garbage. Do not buy.

We got this cart and play market for our 2 year old son to go with the American Plastics Play kitchen so I thought I knew what I was getting in to but I was WRONG! the cart is NOT kid friendly at all and is very small. My son can walk well and fell multiple times trying to use this cart. The wheels did not roll they scooted across the floor instead, the actual cart is tiney and does not hold much, the little boxes of food are worthless were destroyed in a matter of min. also unless the scanner station was up against a wall it would fall over, NOT very sturdy as well. If you are looking for a cart American Plastics makes another one that is very well put together it's the green, blue & silver for $10.- and so worth every penny, i don't know why this one didn't compare?? So that being said we returned it for that one and he plays with it ALL the time!

LITTLE & CHEAP! Cart is NOT kid friendly!

I bought the item and really wasn't impressed... too small and too cheap. Disappointing...

Too small and too cheap
