My TV has an IR receiver that is not very sensitive. I would have to get within three feet to activate it. 
The Monster IR Extender Receiver is sensitive. I put it at the TV and put the transmitter right on and  pointing right at the TV IR receiver.
Now the TV can be controlled from anywhere in the living room.

I have my gaming system, speakers, blue ray player and fire tv and this makes it easy to hide all of these! I'm able to control multiple components at once all while keeping my entertainment space free of mess. It was extremely easy to understand With a fast set up. I'm extremely happy with this product and would recommend for anyone looking for something similar.

I was able to organize my cable box and my DVD player without having them visible and I could have added 2 more devices to it if I wanted to. Very easy set-up and the wires are long so if you are trying to set-up an area that requires a longer cable, you are in luck with this product. It also has a very strong signal, I would definitely recommend this product.

Super easy and fast to install, just plug it up and place the little transmitters next to each device and the receiver on top. Everything is neatly put away and replaced with a small hardly noticeable receiver that works with all ir remotes. Now I need more for my other TVs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the tv mounted on the wall I wanted a clean look without having the cable box on a tv stand beside the fireplace. Adding this extender allowed me to mount the cable box behind the tv so nobody is able to see a thing. Tv looks like its floating I'm able to sit anywhere in the living room and point and click with no problem.

A Home Theater Must Have

It definitely makes it simpler, since I don't have multiple remotes and also I'm just happy for my living room to not looks as messy.

It works fine but only has a range of about 6 feet.  You have to be really close to the receiver for it to pick up the signal from the remote.
