The stools are very sturdy and easy to assemble. The only issue that I have is that they are not a true white. The color is off-white. When put next to my white cupboards it is very obvious that they are not white.

Color description misleading

While these look great once assembled, the drilled holes do not line up very well at all, therefore trying to tighten a screw with an Allen wrench is nearly impossible (and hurt your hands in the process!).

Nearly impossible to assemble

Would not recommend. Received first order of 2 stools and both seats were damaged. After sending photos to Monarch, a 2nd shipment was quickly sent out to us. They were also both damaged even though the packaged was phenomenal. Very poor quality and quality control. We were fed up at this point and simply kept 2 seats that were the least damaged.

Monarch Specialties Barstool

So many dings and imperfections on each of the 4 stools purchased. Looks like it was slapped together and painted too quickly and with no regard to how it looked. The paint on one of the tops of the stools peeled off right when taken out of the box. Very disappointed.

Poor craftsmanship
