Great desk!!

It is totally worth it. Sturdy, good looking, good storage, smooth drawers, easy to put together (3 hours for 2 people, all you need is patience). No defects or missing pieces, everything fits perfectly, just follow the instructions slowly. It's the first piece of furniture I've ever put together whose pieces just fall into each place seamlessly. Shipping times were actually faster. Once again, Walmart delivered!

Product exceeded my expectation! Considering the price I was expecting a nice but not extravagant "cheap" desk just for school but it is actually extremely well made. Very sturdy and strong. Comes with glue for extra hold. Easy to put together and all the parts and screws are numbered.

Great Product!

When we took it out of the box, we noticed that the top was damaged. We contacted the manufacturer with the instructions provided in the box and they replaced it right away. It looks great and it is very functional.

I bought this a few weeks ago and was impressed with the quality and how sturdy it is. Everything went together super easy. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very good quality

The desk took a long time to assemble, but was easy enough to do.  The main part of the desk (top board) had a little dent on the edge in the middle.  I put that part in the back so it won't be noticeable.  I also covered the desk in glass from a local factory (not cheap - $124 to cover the whole thing).  If you want this desk, I would highly recommend getting glass or something else to cover it.  It is not real wood and has a simple coating on it.  This will damage easily from water or too much use without something to protect it.  The desk is decent for what I needed it for - a place to do work; hold paper & other necessary office materials. The boards that hold your items (top part, side part and shelves) all sound hollow - so don't buy this if you have a lot of heavy things that you want to store on it.  I was sad about the bottoms of the drawers because they are just a  super thin piece of particle board - not even 1/8" thick.  They will not hold up to a lot of weight in them either. The bottom drawer had two metal rods at the top of the front and back - I was thinking it could hold hanging folders.  It is too wide for letter sized hanging folders, but might work with legal size ones.  The drawers also do not take up all of the space within that compartment.  It has several inches space in back that could have been used.  The shelves in front are almost long enough to hold a ream of paper (sticks out only slightly). The long middle shelf board is only held up with 4 pegs.  I've already noticed it also cannot hold a lot of weight.  If you want the desk for an office to use with glass, then it will work for you.  But I wouldn't hold my breath on it looking very nice for long if you don't get something to protect it.

Good looking, but won't look good forever.

The table looks nice, and it is pretty sturdy. The assembly was pretty easy, and it took no more than 3 hours to complete everything. The only thing I wish that the table top was secured with 8 screws instead of 4 screws only. That way the whole desk would feel stronger if you had to push it a bit while adjusting it on the floor. Also, I am not sure how strong is the "wood" against light scratches. We had a some furniture with similar "wood" material, and it scratched real easy... But I am just guessing here... Maybe this one is stronger. Time will show. Over all nice looking, and pretty strong office, or study desk. I would recommend it, just manufacturer could double the amount of screws to hold the table top. Than I would give 5 stars.

Nice looking, and pretty strong

My 11 year old son put this together. No parts or screws were missing. Everything was aligned. It took him 5 hours by himself but he likes to read instructions. Was pleasantly surprised. The only thing is I think the color on the finish rubs off but I am not sure. It could be from one of the kids running a hot wheel back and forth over it.  Desk is sturdy (we have it up against a wall). Enough room to hold various things while I am working from home  but not too big for a kids room. Have had it for 2 weeks.

Love the design of the desk its very functional but the desk top is so unlevel it's ridiculous. This desk is so cheaply made it should be priced around $100 not $400.
